"Well...." She said slowly, taking her hammer from the tool belt. It started expanding as she kept her eyes focused on Carson.
Nimo got a gun and pointed it him. "Don't move."
Carson felt the urge to roll his eyes. For starters, why was Sunshine always bringing out a hammer for the smallest reason? Didn't she have any other weapons in her arsenal?
Also, he could self-heal, Nimo's gun would probably injure him but not kill him. And he proceeded to say as much. "You do realize that I can heal from a gunshot wound, right?"
Nimo scoffed. "Not if I shoot you, cut you open and take out your heart. I don't think you can grow a new one."
At her side, Sunshine laughed, "Boy do I have news for you Neems...."
Nimo gasped. "He can grow a new heart! I am getting more confused on which powers I want to awaken. This sounds cool too."
