Chapter 202 - Chapter 202: You Two Come at Me Together, I’ll Take You Both On

The video feed switched to show Smith Dole delivering a single punch that sent the Abomination flying. Seeing Smith arrive to save the day, Ross shouted,

"Banner, wait!"

But he was too late — Bruce Banner had already leapt from the aircraft, plummeting in free fall.

Ross sighed in frustration, especially when he saw his daughter leaning dangerously out the hatch. He quickly ordered,

"Pull her inside."

A soldier grabbed Betty by the arm. "Come inside, miss!"

Once she was safely pulled in and the hatch closed, Ross immediately turned his attention back to the live feed.

The Abomination, having been punched across the street by Smith, slowly got back to his feet. He threw his head back and roared, the sound hitting like a sonic blast, making bystanders clutch their ears in pain.

"Quiet down," Smith muttered.

In a blink, he was standing right in front of the Abomination. Though Smith's 182 cm frame was far from small, it looked tiny compared to the monster's bulk.

Smack!

Smith's open palm slammed across the Abomination's face, forcing its head to the side and cutting off the roar.

The Abomination's eyes filled with hatred. He swung a massive arm at Smith, but Smith dodged effortlessly and countered with a punch to the torso.

Boom!

The blow cratered the ground beneath them, and the Abomination howled in pain.

Watching through the aircraft's feed, Ross frowned. "This new monster seems… weak."

He had no idea how much stronger Smith had become. In Ross's mind, Smith had once needed serious effort to drive off the Hulk — yet now, against this Hulk-like creature, he was fighting as casually as an adult toying with a child.

"Must be another failed experiment," Ross muttered. "Nothing like the Hulk."

A loud thud echoed as Banner's body slammed into the street not far from Bulma, carving a deep crater.

"Bruce?" Bulma said uncertainly. She recognized him from the Dragon Ball competition. But remembering what he could transform into, she backed away instead of approaching.

Her werewolf team was off helping evacuate civilians. With her laser gun in hand, Bulma wasn't worried for herself.

A giant fist suddenly burst from the crater, flinging chunks of pavement into the air. Hulk emerged, shaking his head as he stood.

Police and soldiers froze in place, murmuring, "Another green giant…"

Hulk tilted his head back and bellowed.

The Dragon Ball battle was over — and Hulk wasn't resisting his release this time. He seemed almost eager.

From down the street, Smith heard the roar and turned his head, catching the sight of Hulk in full voice.

"Another noise-maker."

The Abomination, buried moments before, leapt out of the ground. Hearing the roar, he shouted with excitement, "Hulk!"

The fight with Smith had dampened some of his frenzy, but now, seeing both his opponent and Hulk together, he called out, "Hulk, smash him!"

Then he lunged at Smith from behind.

At the same time, Hulk recognized Smith — and instantly remembered the beating he'd once taken from him.

"Hulk… smash!" he roared, charging forward.

As the Abomination's punch came in, Smith simply raised one finger to block.

Clang!

Blonsky's eyes widened. "Impossible!"

Smith grabbed the Abomination's arm, swung him over his shoulder, and flung him into the oncoming Hulk.

Crash!

The two monsters collided hard, sprawling to the ground before clambering up again to glare at Smith.

Smith's lips curled in a grin. "You two come at me together. Today, I'm taking you both on."

Back when his power level was just over 200, he'd dared to face Hulk alone. Now, with a full 1,240, neither Hulk nor the Abomination even registered as threats. In fact, he was hoping Hulk would get even stronger.

The two monsters exchanged a look. They could both see the mockery in his stance — and Blonsky felt especially insulted.

They charged. Reaching Smith at the same moment, they swung from opposite sides, their fists powerful enough to flatten steel.

Smith didn't flinch. He threw both fists forward to meet theirs.

Boom!

Four fists met, detonating a shockwave that shattered windows, billboards, and glass façades up and down the street, the blast wave even reaching the next block.

Civilians still in the area were tossed off their feet, clutching their ears as some suffered ruptured eardrums.

Everyone now realized — this wasn't like the earlier fights with "God" or Iron Man. Watching as an ordinary person here meant risking your life. Their only thought now was hoping for compensation and treatment.
