Chapter 200 - Chapter 200 - The Birth of Abomination

The tranquilizer dart took effect within seconds, and Bruce Banner collapsed to the ground, completely helpless.

A squad of heavily armed soldiers stormed into the lab—leading them was Blonsky.

He rushed to Banner's side and confirmed that the man was fully unconscious, with no signs of resistance or transformation.

Thud!

Blonsky slammed the butt of his rifle into Banner's head. When there was still no response, he sneered,

"So this is your greatest weakness… your normal form."

"Take him away!"

Several soldiers bound Bruce's hands and feet with restraints, secured him to a stretcher, and hauled him out.

General Ross watched as Bruce was carried away, showing no signs of resistance. He smiled in satisfaction. Betty, however, followed the soldiers with a different expression.

To her, Bruce had cured himself. As soon as her father saw this, he would no longer be a threat.

But Ross leaned down to Bruce's ear and whispered coldly,

"If you really destroyed it… I'll make sure you're locked up for life."

Betty overheard and snapped,

"If you treat him like this, I'll never forgive you."

"He's a fugitive," Ross replied.

But Betty wasn't buying it.

"This is all your doing."

"You just want to save face and keep your job."

"I'm not your daughter anymore."

Ross was furious.

"If you weren't my daughter, you would've been arrested long ago."

Betty gave him a fierce glare and climbed into the vehicle transporting Bruce.

···

Meanwhile, back in Sterns' lab, soldiers were questioning him—with Blonsky present.

A female soldier asked,

"You're saying you can make more giants like him?"

Sterns, seated, replied,

"No, not exactly. I can replicate parts of him, but not a complete Hulk—not yet."

He didn't notice Blonsky's eyes light up at those words.

Blonsky had seen Hulk's raw power, and even though the Super Soldier Serum had raised his combat power to 50, making him unmatched in the military, it was nothing compared to the likes of Hulk, Iron Man, or Smith Dole—especially after seeing Smith Dole beat Hulk down with ease.

That power... he wanted it. And he believed his iron will could suppress Hulk's rage and give him control over the transformation.

Sterns kept explaining,

"Bruce was a fluke. I'm aiming for something even better."

The female soldier said,

"So that means… Banner's unique."

Blonsky realized that if he wanted the serum, going through proper channels might take forever—if it was approved at all. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

He struck. Knocking the female soldier out cold.

Sterns was stunned.

"Why did you hit her?"

"She was annoying," Blonsky replied, pointing a gun at Sterns.

"I want what you extracted from Banner. Inject it into me."

Under threat and driven by curiosity to see the results of his research, Sterns agreed.

Moments later, Bruce Banner's mutated blood was injected into Blonsky's body.

The change was immediate. Blonsky's body grew grotesquely, morphing into the monstrous form of Abomination. Meanwhile, some of Banner's blood dripped onto Sterns' injured forehead…

Blonsky's first transformation was an overwhelming experience. He thought he could control it, but he had underestimated the chaotic fury. His mind filled with urges to destroy and devastate.

His transformation caused such a commotion that the military forces outside took notice. Spotting him, they mistook him for Hulk and opened fire.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The gunfire only excited Abomination more. He grabbed a nearby car and hurled it like a toy, unleashing carnage around him.

"I need a fight!" he roared.

"Where are the strong ones?! I want to fight Hulk, Smith Dole, Iron Man!"

Shouting their names, Abomination rampaged through the streets, attacking everything—including his former comrades.

···

Meanwhile, in a helicopter, Ross, Betty, and Bruce were en route back to base.

One soldier held out a headset to Ross.

"General, you'll want to hear this."

Ross took it and heard,

"Hulk is on the street. Repeat, Hulk is on the street!"

Ross looked at Bruce sitting calmly beside him—clearly not transformed. He replied,

"Impossible. Calm down. Where are you?"

"121st Street, heading north on Broadway."

Ross turned to the pilot.

"Turn us around. Now!"

Bruce frowned.

"Why are we going back?"

Ross ignored him.

"Give me visuals!"

"Yes, sir!"

Soon, a live feed of the street appeared on their monitors.

···

On the streets, RPGs were being fired—but Abomination only got more excited. He picked up a car and hurled it aside, continuing his path of destruction.

He shouted again,

"Where's the strong one?! I need to fight!"

"Hulk! Smith Dole! Iron Man!"

As he tore through the streets, soldiers tried to hold him back, but he smashed through everything in his path.

Onboard the helicopter, Bruce lunged forward to see the footage. A few soldiers tried to stop him, but he managed to glimpse the video.

Seeing the chaos, Ross stared at Bruce, puzzled.

What was going on?

Bruce turned and glared at him.

"Your experiment?"

Betty gasped.

"Oh my god… what did you do?!"

Ross looked between them, said nothing, then picked up his headset.

"All units, fall back. Now."
