A young teen was running with a gas mask and a hazmat suit on as his city filled with a lot of radiation and poisonous gas , but that is what he was not running away from.
He was running away from an alien, it looked like half a dog and half a lion but there was something about it that felt wrong , it was spitting acid which can burn through bones.
As he was running looking forward reaching for the place where his only family his mom was standing not realizing something was behind him , his mom screamed " NEEL
LOOK BEHIND YOU " . While trying to look behind he tripped and fell , the alien was crawling towards him .
Suddenly his mother jumped in between and was attaced by the alien as he was pulled into the safety.
Neel woke up sweat dropping from his forehead,breathing heavily as he remembered what happened in his dream , then he looks to his left at his mother's last gift for him or her last thing.
He smiled, but there were tears running down his face. He picked up the sweater and hugged it tightly not letting go of it.
He got up and walked towards the kitchen and turned on the coffee machine to brew some coffee.
While the coffee was being brewed, he went to the shower. He came out a few minutes later , with a towel on his lower half. His face was ethereal, with pale skin and dark hair and dark eyes like ebony.
He put on beige pants with a navy button up
he combed his hair and put on his white coat.
After drinking his coffee he walked outside for a while before getting in his house again to get his ID and work stuff .
He got out of the supposed 'SafeZone' where aliens enslaved humans but gave the food water and clothes.
He got to an alien which puts a electric device on his wrist, while he himself puts on a translation device which helps him to understand that alien. The aliens have a same thing in there hands as they hear from their supposed hands
The alien spoke

(Or boss won't be happy . And you know how it ends)
Neel answers
" Yes sir I know "
He walks with his hands tied to his back and eyes covered with something so he can't see where he is going .
He reached inside of an elevator , they opened his eyes and gave him a hazmat suit.

The alien ordered.
Neel replied with annoyance,
"Of course sir"
They entered a zone where there were many aliens taking their slaves ( humans) to their work place.
He entered a building, it was very tall and smelled like chemicals. But it was very radioactive. He entered a room and he saw it the boss, the highest on the hierarchy of this lab, this chemical radiation making company.
It looked at Neel and said,

(I see you have been a loyal dog to us)
It continued

(So I am promoting you to the main research lab)
Neel was shocked but he smiled and did as the alien said. He entered the new office he saw people's faces through their masks, they looked nearly dead. A very pungent smell hits him, it is like some one bathed in stinky cheese and rotten fish. The smell made his stomach twist.
There was also strong chemical smell everywhere even when whe Neel entered his office cell. This also made his stomach twist more but now his head was aching too.
He was in a daze when a man came up to him and got him out of his trance.
" Hey are you new here? "
"Y..yes."
Neel replied nervously sweat dropping from his not visible fore head.
" No need to be nervous, I am Vijay your senior. "
The man said.
Neel now tense replied with a stutter,
"I....I am Neel, and p..pl..lease teach me well. "
Vijay laughed,
"Haha, no promises. "
Neel now very calm said,
"I will also try to be nice. "
They both laughed, every eye on the room was looking at them like they saw warmth for the first time in a decade.
Vijay took Neel to his office for the schedule, then showed him around, and Neel met some people he would work with now on. Neel went to his office and set his things there as he felt he would be there for a long time.
Neel was doing great since he worked with Vijay but something about Vijay felt off, and Neel was not able to put a finger on it.
He was perfect at his job, too perfect. It felt fake and made up by the aliens.
Neel got off his shift and was led back home, and he thought about what happened today.
He was not able to sleep. He kept working for weeks, and found most of the people not human like. They were too good, too kind, too fast and too mysterious.
No one knew where they came from they always disappear at random times. So Neel thought to investigate himself. He saw Vijay leaving in the most random time so he went after him.
As he was walking behind Vijay, Vijay suddenly looked behind himself but, Neel hid in time to not be found.
When Vijay walked a little farther than before Neel again left behind him and saw Vijay putting on a password in a very dark area under the building hidden under a dust bin .
Neel quickly took out a notepad from his hazmat suits pocket and a pen and wrote the password down.
He went there wrote the password letter to letter, number to number from his not pad and found that there was a high level of security with laser beams.
He first throught to throw a paper , it was turned into ashes in less than a mili second.
He thought.
"I am not going to survive, am I? "
