Chapter 269 - 269: The Gap Between Them.

After throwing out a heavy punch, the dragon man did not relent. He had already witnessed Arakawa Zenkichi's power in the shadows. After all, this was the man who had fought the Wolf God and emerged victorious.

That alone proved just how terrifying Zenkichi's strength was.

Because of this, the dragon man acted with extreme caution. It was the main reason he chose a sneak attack in the first place.

At this moment, he struck toward Zenkichi's head, gaining a temporary advantage. He intended to keep pressing forward, to maintain his momentum at all costs. Without hesitation, he launched a powerful kick aimed directly at Zenkichi's dantian, the vital core where energy flowed.

If that attack landed, Zenkichi's energy would fall into chaos.

"You underestimate me too much!"

Though the ambush had caught him off guard and left his head spinning, Zenkichi was no ordinary man. His strength was extraordinary, and with the power of Saitama flowing through him, his recovery was instantaneous.

The dragon man's fierce kick, meant to disrupt his very core, came flying at him—

Zenkichi reached out and caught it with one hand, his grip unyielding.

This time, he used his strength, his anger blazing. He had never expected the cowardly sneak attack, and now he intended to show his enemy the true difference between them—an unbridgeable gulf.

"The Fury of Thunder!"

The dragon man grinned when he saw Zenkichi's reaction. Lightning roared within his body, arcs of electricity flashing across his frame. In an instant, he summoned a terrifying storm of thunder, his body crackling with raw voltage.

Zzzzt! The air hissed with electricity. The power radiating from him surged to one hundred thousand volts, enough to burn anything into cinders. He was utterly confident—if Zenkichi made contact with him, he would be paralyzed instantly.

But Zenkichi did not flinch.

Instead, he held his grip, his expression calm and unbothered, as if the lightning coursing into him was nothing more than a breeze.

The dragon man's face twisted in disbelief. His one-hundred-thousand-volt defense should have left anyone in ruins, yet Zenkichi's hold was unshaken, his power even greater.

"Using thunder against me? You overestimate yourself."

The lightning raged across Zenkichi's body, but his expression did not change. This force was meaningless to him. After all, he too commanded the power of thunder. Unless the opponent wielded thunder beyond his control, no matter how fierce the voltage, it was useless.

To Zenkichi, the storm was nothing more than a spark—something he could dispel with ease.

That was why he mocked his opponent, for making such a fatal mistake.
