Ava felt like she was going to faint where she sat. The day had been hectic for her and he was planning to travel miles to Veritas city after all they had been through?!
'Isn't he tired?' She wondered.
"No, not today." Eitan said with a little shake of his head and Ava sighed in relief. "Tomorrow."
She stiffened. "Aren't… Aren't you tired?" She asked. "Don't you need rest?"
Eitan shrugged. "A good night's sleep will be more than enough."
Ava slumped back into her chair dejectedly. "Are you some kind of horse?"
Eitan's brows furrowed. "What's that supposed to mean?"
She turnes her head slowly to look at him. "Kiera told me once that horses have a lot of stamina and that they hardly ever get tired…" She suddenly jolted upright, startling Eitan.
"The letter!" She requested sharply and he froze.
"When we get home–"
"No, I want it now." She glared at up at him.
Eitan sighed and rubbed his temples. "What if I'm not with it here?"
