"Deal!" I agreed.
"What? No!" Thatcher immediately objected.
"Huh," I turned to look at him. "Why not?"
"You need to be at Beta Benjamin's house, remember?"
"I know, but..." I tried to explain, but he stopped me.
"Shouldn't you be at the hospital beside Madison and her father?"
I frowned. "How do you know that Madison is at the hospital? I never told you."
"Ohh," he exchanged glances with Julian.
"Do you have an informant?" I asked, growing suspicious.
"Yes," Julian answered, "we have one."
"You do? Who?"
"You know him. He is close by, and he is always watching you," Julian mumbled.
My frown deepened. "You have someone monitoring me?"
"No, wait, no one is monitoring you," Julian sighed. "How do I explain this?"
"You have someone watching my every move; you just said it," I groaned, getting angry.
"The person is there to ensure your safety; Julian worded it wrongly," Thatcher explained, but his explanation did nothing to calm my rage.
