Linnea's and Madison's interactions attracted much attention. Beatrice and Beta Benjamin rushed out when the maids informed them of the commotion.
When Linnea saw Beta Benjamin approaching, she forced tears from her eyes.
"Why are you on the floor? What happened?" Both Beatrice and Benjamin helped Madison to her feet.
"Did you do this to her? Did you hit a pregnant woman?" Beatrice questioned Linnea.
"What? Is she pregnant?" Linnea wiped her tears and expressed shock.
"You weren't aware she was pregnant?"
"I mean... how was I supposed to know that? I saw her rubbing her sweat on my car, and I thought... I thought she was one of the maids. I didn't see her bump because she was facing my car. Oh, moon goddess! I think I've made a mistake."
"Who is she? Don't tell me she's Madison. Is she your husband's daughter, the one you told me about?" Linnea gasped.
"She is his favorite daughter, yes," Beatrice confirmed.
