While the monkey was trying hard to get away from these god bastards the other gods who were stationed and haven't been killed began to fight the other lower demons that were brought along.
They were evenly matched in power.. heck, even slightly stronger due to the heavenly dao having an even bigger influence on these demons so they managed to defend themselves.
"DIEEEEEE!" One lower god bathed in flames roared before slicing the head off a monstrous being.
On another side a goddess that looked like a beautiful painting wielded a sword made out of water and began using her divine techniques to vanquish the demons.
Both sides were losing many but so far the gods had the upper hand.
Michael was watching from the second stronghold and was not even breathing.
If they get past the first one then it would be his turn.
He has confidence in his strength of course as he is a great god and can even fight a peak great god but if a venerable god demon was to come?
Death.
Squashed like a little ant.
That's how big a mere minor realm is.
So he silently hoped that they would be stopped there or even more venerable gods can team up on them.
Unfortunately for Michael, how could it possibly be that easy?
Just when Michael was going to shout they all felt strong Devilish auras coming from the crack.
The auras made all of them freeze as if their blood ran cold.
They knew how powerful they were as the aura as pressuring as this can only be felt from Venerable gods!
Even more Venerable level demons are coming and it seems to be multiple!
Instantly the surrounding area was engulfed in horrifying Demonic qi making everyone shudder.
They ended up bringing 4 Venerable god stage devils with them.
It seems they are quite intent on wiping us out no matter what.
We only have 4 so we're missing one.
The other two Venerable gods when they noticed the devils went to the first stronghold to help the others but even then it's still a 5 Vs 4 although that monkey might be injured it's still numbers.
But it seems my worry was nothing as there was soon another Venerable god from our side which seemed to be a handsome man.
It was a Blonde haired man with pure yellow eyes as if you were staring at the sun.
His body had a certain majesty to it as if he was the ruler of the world, however he wasn't.
He also had a golden crown on his forehead that glistened with the gems on it.
He also exuded a familiar aura as it was the aura of the Laws of light!
It seems this man is the Venerable god of light.. my superior.
'Yep, still more handsome as expected.'
It seems this battle will be an interesting one to watch indeed~

At the battlefield.
There were now 6 Ugly abyss devils who had mixed appearances and in front of them stood beautiful and handsome gods who had equally terrifying power.
"Mere ants from a lower world! Become our slaves and you'll have a chance to live!" Roared an ugly tentacle monster with dozens of eyes on its head.
It gazed at the gods with greed as if they were treasures.
They all snorted and didn't waste time talking to a tentacle monster.
"Holy Light Judgement!" The Venerable god of light started it off with a strong attack that filled the sky with a blinding light.
BOOM
Explosions went off as the blinding light made contact with the devils from the abyss.
It was one of the attacks the Venerable of light took pride in as nobody could defend themselves from it.. especially nasty beings of darkness!
Not to be outdone the Venerable of fire conjured two blue flames in his hands before combining them together and raising his hands and instantly a huge ball of blue flames appeared like a spirit bomb.
He roared before sending it down alongside the explosive light attack.
Seeing them attack the Venerable of water also used a deadly move by conjuring a sky full of swords and swinging them down full speed!
The others also used killer moves hoping to least seriously injure them, maybe even killing them despite it being a low possibility.
BOOOOOOOOOM
CRRRAAASH-
The sky was filled with dust for miles and it was as if multiple nukes exploded.
The area surrounding them for hundreds of miles became a land of no life as everything was swept away and will forever be due to the aura that surrounds this place.
"ROOOOOOOAAAAR!"
Enraged roars sounded out from the smoke and out came the devils who while injured weren't severely as they have strong regenerative powers.
They launched the counter attack against them and managed to gain the upper hand while killing many lower gods who were nearby watching. They didn't even care if it was their own people.
The Venerable gods were getting easily pushed back and it seemed as if all hope was lost until another Venerable god showed up!
This person was a beautiful goddess with Silky green hair and emerald eyes that would drown a soul. Her buttocks are round and plump while she has two huge jade peaks which threaten to burst from her robe.
It's the Venerable god of nature!
She's one of the strongest as she has reached late stage Venerable God.
It's a safe thing to note that the devils and our Venerable gods alike are merely mid or early stage gods so having a late stage it's clear who's winning.
And indeed as soon as she joined the Fray it was a one sided slaughter. She easily, with the help of the others, chopped down these devils and killed the army's leaving none alive.
It seems the first push they tried failed eh?
However, something tells me this is merely a scouting push as there will be more deadly battles in the future.

Michael went to the battlefield to check it out and saw the humongous corpses of these devils.
Over 100s of feet and the devilish aura is nasty.
If a normal person stays nearby then they will be turned into an abyssal monster with no intelligence and rely on instinct.
While there were quite a few bodies on our side the losses weren't all that bad considering they can revive in time~
The Venerable gods collected the corpses of the Venerable devils for who knows what purpose and left the minor corpses to us.
I took a few Devil corpses as I wanted to experiment with them and see how they work and what makes them different.
I managed to get one greater god corpse and a few lower gods corpses.
But the weird thing I saw is that whenever I picked up a corpse there seemed to be a black and reddish fragment of something that has a demonic aura to it.
I asked around and others said they don't know what I'm talking about but every corpse has one.
'What is this?'
Michael narrowed his eyes trying to think but he gave up as he really didn't know. But still collected these mysterious fragments since he has a certain greed for treasures.
Once he had them he went back to his secret realm and went to one of the secret bases he had in a mountain near the palace.
He stored the tall corpses in there since there is plenty of space and then some and decided to come back at a later time to deal with it.
After that he went to blow off some steam ;)
