It's been few days in this school and I have no choice but to admit that Adrian is indeed the class captain if my classes. I wasn't wrong after all because I later got to know that he wasn't chosen because he is intelligent but because he was the one who carried the most votes. " Why won't he, with his way if deceiving people? Anyway, Adrian is the least of my problem right now.
I know I should have stayed at home ,but there is no way to stop my mother from letting me come to school just by telling her that I have headache. However,I clearly know that I'm feeling sick and there's no way I can stay in class any longer. Thankfully,my classmates had gone for sport,so I can just quietly go to the sickbay to rest.
Unfortunately, I don't think I relaxed up to five minutes before friends started trooping in. The first one is Tina who wouldn't let me rest with her " so many gists" Other people came including my prince charming whom I find myself silently admiring but of course, my dear class captain never even thought of coming to check up on me.
I was not surprised though, we don't even talk in the class and I'm sure he doesn't care about who I am and neither do I so that balance the equation.
" Amelia,here is your book" Tina shouted from my back and rush to catch up with me. 'I had clearly packed up my books into my bag before leaving,so where did this one emerge from?' I asked myself silently while looking at Tina with suprise.
Tina seeing how suprised I was laughed and said " the teacher asked us to distribute the notes she had marked and yours was among them. I guess someone helped you to write notes while you were in the sick bay and submitted it to the teacher for marking. Bye and see you tomorrow!' she waved and left even before I could call her back.
I opened the book still wondering which of my friends was kind enough to do this for me but then,it was not any of my friends but Adrian .
I have seen his handwriting before so I am clearly sure he is the one 'but why will someone that don't even have complete notes be willing to help me complete mine or could it be that he has finally succeeded in completing his mission of deceiving me?' I asked myself in surprise.
