Scarlett
I was elated to death with the look in his eyes. I don't know why but that look turned me on,... badly. My c*** was throbbing. His eyes which were icy blue seconds ago were now glowing a fiery gold color. I'm guessing it's his demon talking, his voice didn't have that melodic beauty again. It was monstrous. "Are you going to kill me?!" I repeated the question. He tightened his grip around my wrists and continued to glare at me. If looks could kill, I'd be long gone.
I suddenly found myself drinking in his whole appearance. His smooth, hard chest was only inches away from mine. He looked more appealing with the dangerous aura hovering about him. His eyes were cold and emotionless. He was growling at me so his lips were slightly parted, revealing his clenched white teeth to me.
"If you keep looking at me that way, I'll be tempted to have a taste of you." I blurt out, smirking. Suddenly, he was smirking. The way his moods change are unbelievable. They are worse than that of a woman on her red days. "Do you mean that?" he asked, his now blue eyes shining with an emotion I couldn't place. "I thought you wanted to kill me for hurting your ego?" I asked amused, raising a brow. "Of you bribe me, I can overlook it." he smirked leaning closer to me.
His face was hovering over mine, his lips not so far away from mine. He grazed his lips over mine, teasing me. My toes were coiling and the sexual tension in the room was thick. I was breathing heavily, my heart racing crazily. "How long have you been cursed?" he asked out of the blue. "What did you just say?" I asked sitting up. My lustful feelings flying out the window.
He backed up a little, his expression serious. He said, "Your mark,... it's a curse symbol. Someone cursed you. I think it's my father cause your mouth gave off a poisonous stench when I tried to kiss you just now so I'm fully convinced it's him. He's the only one strong even to repulse my power." Every word he said was said slowly, as they painfully pierced into my ears.
"Why did he curse me?" I asked. "I don't know but I feel your mum should have an answer to that. It's a love curse and she's the one you love the most." I inhaled sharply, then asked, "So what you're needing to tell me is that my mum might have asked the devil himself to curse me to love her only?" "Unfortunately,...yes." he responded.
"For how long?" I asked, running my fingers through my silky hair. He paused, for a long while. "Well,..." he began, the suspense killing me. "What?" I almost yell. "...that will depend on what the terms of the deal she made was, but from what I'm seeing, it's probably for the rest of your life." "What?!!!" I screamed. "You must be kidding me,... right?"
His face looked serious. He was serious. This wasn't a joke. "If I fall in love with you, will the curse break?" I asked. "No. This isn't fiction. It doesn't work that way in reality. Plus right now, you are practically incapable of falling in love with anyone even if you wanted to." he answered. "How do I break it then?!" I screamed frustrated.
He didn't attack me for shouting at him. I continued to stare deep into his mystic blue eyes, they held sadness and pain. I didn't know who those emotions were directed to. "There's only one way to break it." "How?!" I asked eagerly. "Kill the host." I smirked, then moved a strand of his luscious white hair out of his eyes, then said, "Gladly."
