Isolde turned her head toward the nightstand beside her bed. Her breakfast and a steaming cup of peppermint tea were there, waiting for her to sip and ease the nausea that hit her every morning.
She started her routine like always, then stepped out of room 429 only to see Tiffara simultaneously exiting her room next door.
Tiffara's face was twisted in rage. She stormed toward Isolde, jabbing a finger right at her face.
"Ever since you showed up, everything's been a fucking mess. The Boss, who used to come to me all the time, now barely sees me unless it's for missions. And now... now you've dragged Mathias and Maxen into your bullshit too. You've fucked everything up. He should've killed you from the start. You ruin everything, this place, my peace, everyone else's peace too!"
One of Isolde's brows lifted. She didn't get what the hell Tiffara was ranting about. Was this again about her carrying Severin's child? But why drag Maxen and Mathias into this shit?
