As he stepped onto the arena stage and got a clear look at his opponent's face, a chill ran down Neji's spine.
The same pale eyes, pale skin, and horn on his head—those unmistakable features practically confirmed his identity!
"Pure n ninjutsu won't work on him. Good thing I train in taijutsu," Neji inwardly sighed in relief before asking, "Are you from Otsutsuki star?"
"You actually know about the Otsutsuki star?" Momoshiki showed slight surprise but didn't dwell on it, speaking lazily, "Since you know that, then kneel and kill yourself!"
"Huh? Kill myself?" Neji looked totally baffled. Had he said something offensive? Why did this guy immediately demand his suicide?
"You dared to address a god with 'you' instead of an honorific? That's blasphemy!" Kinshiki "kindly" explained from outside the arena stage.
Momoshiki modestly nodded, approving of Kinshiki's words.
"Really?" Neji suddenly raised his right hand to measure their height difference, glancing at the 10-centimeter heels Momoshiki wore, "Is it really not because you're shorter than me even with elevator shoes?"
Momoshiki's fury instantly ignited. "Wretched lowlife creature! What did you just say?"
[Inukaitakerunomikoto!]
As if granting life to mountains and rivers, dozens of dragon-headed, snake-bodied creatures instantly erupted from the ground, rushing toward Neji.
Neji leapt backward, but the creatures swiftly pursued, tightly coiling around him!

With no way out, Neji rapidly spun around.
Like a charging top, he shredded all the chakra constructs approaching him!
"Rotation?" Momoshiki mocked, almost instantly appearing before Neji, delivering a powerful kick that sent the spinning Neji flying away!
"How is this possible? He actually broke through my Hyuga Clan's absolute defense so easily!" Outside the ring, Hiashi widened his eyes in disbelief. He knew exactly how advanced Neji was with Rotation—nothing short of a Susanoo might be able to penetrate it.
Yet this opponent shattered it with a single kick!
"What strength!" Neji shouted, spitting out a mouthful of blood midair. Before he even slammed into the barrier, his peripheral vision caught a shadow suddenly appearing ahead.
With no time to think, a surge of immense chakra suddenly erupted from within Neji!
Eight Gates!
At his current level of cultivation, Open the Seventh Gate was his limit.
And now, he had no intention of holding anything back—he pushed straight to the Seventh Gate all at once!
"AAAAAHHHH!" As if to vent the surging power within him, Neji roared out, abruptly changing speed midair, accelerating like a cannonball straight toward Momoshiki!

A deafening explosion echoed, shaking the entire arena stage.
Kinshiki, standing outside the arena, widened his eyes. He wasn't worried about Momoshiki's safety, but his mind trembled, "Daring to humiliate Lord Momoshiki like this—this world must be destroyed!"
Sure enough, a powerful gust of wind blew away the thick layer of dust. Momoshiki stood battered and furious, roaring like a beast, "Damn bastard! I will destroy you all, destroy this world itself..."
Before his words had finished echoing, he was kicked straight in the face by Neji, sending him flying.
"As expected, like that Otsutsuki Urashiki from three years ago, he's equally inept at taijutsu!" Neji's heart filled with joy while maintaining his alertness, "Though I'm not sure if he can transform like Urashiki, I absolutely cannot give him a chance to eat eyes!"
[Frustrating taijutsu!] Momoshiki raged inwardly as he rose from the rubble.
If only they fought using these lower beings' ninjutsu system, he wouldn't have to go through so much trouble!

When his consciousness came back, searing pain shot through every part of him!
Looking down, Neji saw the opponent's right hand piercing through his chest, clutching his heart!
"So that was...time...frozen?"
"You actually figured it out—impressive for a worm," Momoshiki coldly remarked, "Despicable worm, your fate has already been sealed!"
With that, he crushed Neji's heart in one squeeze, discarded him like garbage!
"Next is your turn," Momoshiki turned around, eager to revel in the crowd's fear and anger—but except for a small minority, most remained surprisingly calm.
"Hmm? Did I not appear vicious enough?" Thinking this, Momoshiki casually hurled a ball of flame at Neji, turning him to ash!
Outside the arena, Naruto looked visibly confused, "Neji, you died really tragically!"
Sasuke shot him a sidelong glance, "Can't you at least pretend to care?"
Naruto helplessly replied, "It's difficult for me to get angry when I know Neji isn't really dead!"
Sasuke sneered, "What about Hinata then? How did you get so mad back then?"
Naruto: (•_•)
In another direction,
Toneri's expression grew serious, "Momo otsutsuki? Time freezing? No wonder he belongs to that clan!"
Xianglin worriedly asked, "Shiro-sama, between you and him..."
"He has nothing to do with me!"
"Toneri gave a slight shake of his head, looking toward the arena with a half-smile, 'Let's wait and see how this plays out. Can a man as proud as him accept the revival of the one he killed?'"
After the victory was decided, the arena's barrier opened.
Momoshiki strode out, just about to carry out his "World Annihilation" plan, when suddenly he sensed a disturbance in the space-time around him.
Time started to reverse in the area where that lowly human had stood moments ago. In a flash of temporal chaos, Neji dropped out of the Void, completely intact!
Neji checked himself over, looked up, and upon seeing his teacher flying toward him, bowed his head slightly and said, "Thank you, teacher!"
Seiki gave a slight nod, "You've already lost. Step down now."
Even Momoshiki could not remain calm at this sight. He fixed Seiki with a stare and said slowly, "[Time Reversal]?"
