Chapter 581 - Chapter 579: Obsessed with Virtual Asuma

At Seiki's home, during lunch.

Seiki chuckled as he asked, "I heard Lady Biwako came yesterday. I suppose she sent you to plead with me to release Konohamaru?"

Kurenai shook her head. "No, actually, Lady Biwako still hopes Konohamaru can stay in juvenile detention for a while longer."

"The Third Lord has his hands full not just with his grandson, but his son as well!" Shizune giggled behind her hand. "Lady Biwako wants us to introduce a few suitable matches to Asuma!"

Kurenai sighed, "At thirty-one and still single, it's no wonder Lady Biwako is anxious."

"This is partly my fault!" Seiki sighed ambiguously. "Dream World has developed many side applications over the years—virtual idols, for example. They're largely to blame for Asuma's obsession!"

"I've heard about this," Shizune nodded repeatedly. "What he's going through is apparently called 'otaku lifestyle' (someone obsessed with anime and virtual idols), right?"

"The whole Sarutobi clan has gone downhill because of him," Seiki mused. "I think Lady Biwako may have been hinting indirectly for me to regulate the virtual chaos."

Kurenai asked curiously, "Is it really that chaotic?"

Seiki nodded. "I just checked—Asuma's favorite virtual singer is actually B in disguise!"

"Cough cough..." Both women suddenly started coughing uncontrollably. "Wh-what? B?!"

Seiki smiled. "You know, B has always been passionate about holding concerts, but barely anyone attends, so he came up with this idea."

Shizune's lips twitched slightly. "I suddenly feel a little sorry for Asuma."

Kurenai sighed, "Now that I think about it, among our old classmates, very few seem to have gotten married. Most are still single!"

Shizune ticked them off on her fingers, "Asuma, Kakashi, Rin, Guy, Mizuki... Wait, I think Mizuki is about to get married!"

Seiki nodded solemnly. "Letting Tsubaki wait for Mizuki all these eight years—perhaps I was indeed being unreasonable."

Suddenly, Shizune sighed, almost as if on purpose. "Not many in our generation got married, yet several of your disciples have already paired off!"

Kurenai blinked. "Especially Neji! I heard he's really getting into your baby-making policy. It might not be long before he has a baby! Should we also have a child?"

"It's not that I don't want to..." Seiki sighed, speaking seriously. "But your bodies are just too fragile to fully handle my essence!"

Both women flushed, exclaiming, "How can you, as a leader, say something like that!"

After blushing furiously, Kurenai asked, concerned, "So does that mean we'll have to adopt in the future?"

"Don't worry," Seiki laughed. "Once I go to the Otsutsuki homeworld in the future and capture a few Otsutsuki, granting you both divine bodies, there won't be any problem with childbirth anymore."

"A few?" The choice of words startled both women. Their husband truly regarded the Otsutsuki as common chickens—so easily captured!

After their shock, they quickly tried to stop him, "It's too dangerous!"

"It's okay if you don't want children. Please don't take any risks..."

Just then, hurried footsteps approached from afar.

Seiki turned his head and saw ten elders arriving together, each seemingly carrying an air of solemnity on their faces.

"What's going on?"

Raikage, the most impatient among them, spoke urgently, "Today, three people bearing the surname Otsutsuki appeared on the championship registration list!"

"Sorry to interrupt your rest," Minato apologized first, then continued, "One of them demonstrated incredible strength powerful enough to instantly subdue a Jonin during registration. This proves their surname wasn't coincidental — they're truly from that clan!"

Everyone anxiously turned their eyes toward Seiki, waiting for his decision.

Ordinary people might not understand what the Otsutsuki meant, but surely they did?

Although they'd long been prepared for potential encounters with Otsutsuki, the sudden appearance of three of them caught them off guard!

How could it be three?

Three years ago, just one Otsutsuki had caused utter chaos — it had taken Seiki himself to subdue that one. Now they faced not one, but three!

And these were only the ones showing themselves.

What about others hiding in the shadows, waiting to strike?

Seiki calmly wiped his mouth with a tissue, "Don't worry. They won't make much of a difference."

As he spoke, two projections materialized before the group, clearly showing three pale-skinned figures with celestial markings.

Onoki's eyes lit up, "These are the three Otsutsuki? Have you been tracking them through the Sky Net all along?"

Rasa exclaimed in shock, "Even the Otsutsuki themselves can't detect this?"

Seiki smiled, "Didn't I tell you before? The Otsutsuki aren't as fearsome as you imagine!"

That's because he's even more terrifying than them... They all kept their thoughts to themselves. Suddenly someone gasped, "Wait, are those two Otsutsuki with horns on their heads monitoring the third one without horns?"

As soon as this was said aloud, the others indeed noticed something odd.

"Could it be these three Otsutsuki aren't working together?"

"Should we try to recruit the isolated one? Let him know he's being watched by other Otsutsuki?"

"Better not. Those Otsutsuki are arrogant creatures. They probably look down on us anyway!"

Seiki tapped the table and said sternly, "Here's my decision — don't give them a second thought. Treat them just like any ordinary person!"

"Ignore them?" Mei Terumi couldn't help but exclaim, "Wouldn't leaving such ticking time bombs alone be too dangerous?"

"I showed you these images just to prove everything's under my control. As I just said, they won't accomplish anything significant!" Seiki remained composed, "We've already hooked three big fish on the very first day. I'm curious to see if even more might surface later!"

Watching Seiki's calm and graceful demeanor, Shizune and Kurenai gazed at him with deep admiration and awe.

Shouldering the fate of the world alone and determining the destiny of countless lives with a single thought — that's what it means to be a true hero and great leader!

Upon hearing Seiki's words, everyone relaxed and began nodding with smiles.

"So our leader already made his decision beforehand. We worried unnecessarily!"

"The three Otsutsuki members probably don't even consider us worth noticing, unaware that the Leader doesn't care about them either!"

"Haha, now I'm actually looking forward to their fate!"

"Then we won't interrupt. Let's go, pretending we never knew about this."

They came weighed down with worry but left feeling light — it was no surprise they ended up laughing out loud.

However, just as they walked out the main gate, A suddenly smacked his head — he remembered something. "Wait, wasn't the reason I suggested holding this tournament was to prepare for the elections? What if we end up facing those three Otsutsuki during the competition? That'd be a total disaster!"
