In the slums of the Capital of Archanus Empire, Silvania City. thugs lurked everywhere, because no noble or higher authorities would bother to go into this place, the place had become lawless and gang fights constantly happens in that place.
"Boss, The Butchers have invaded the inner sector of our territory. Their leader is also there"
A bald man with a cut on his face reported to the long black haired man currently sleeping on the dirty ground with a book covered on his face.
'Can he even read?'
Thought the bald thug as the man he called his Boss woke up and opened his eyes revealing a pair of crimson rubies. It was Li Sheng, a gang leader at just the age of 16 in the slums of Silvania.
Tilting his head to look at the bald guy, Li Sheng got up lazily from the ground and stretched his body. He did not answer his subordinate nor did he glance at him after getting up. He just straight up left the shack and asked to be guided by that same subordinate.
"Let's go"
Since their territory was small for a gang, Li Sheng and his bald subordinate did not take long to arrive at the area where their adversaries are currently fighting.
Like Moses splitting the red sea, as Li Sheng walked to that area, his men would make way for him. The same goes for the other gang too, the moment they saw Li Sheng, they stopped fighting and called their leader who also split his sea of men like the red sea.
"You're invading at an important day, Levin"
"What can I do? This will be our last day together before we get admitted to the Academy"
Li Sheng stared at the blonde young man infront of him with a neutral expression on his face. The two of them had a stare down competition for a few seconds before Li Sheng sighed and started tightening the wrap of the bandages on his vambraces.
"Whatever, Let's start fighting then. Since we will not have any chance to do so once we enter the Academy"
Once the two gang leaders then started squaring up against each other, their members...subordinates to be precise gave some space for the two of them to fight.
The first one to make a move was Levin, the blonde young man as he rushed towards Li Sheng and deliver a simple left hook towards Li Sheng's face, and a follow up right uppercut. But Li Sheng, with his neutral expression just blocked the hook with a swift punch with his right fist and then blocked the second blow with his left palm.
Once he grabbed a hold at Levin's hand, he then turned his body and shifted his weight to do a shoulder throw on Levin, but the blonde guy grabbed Li Sheng's robe to prevent the throw and then throw a punch on his face. Li Sheng took the punch on the face like a man as he did a counterattack by delivering a blow on Levin's liver.
Li Sheng suffered a nosebleed from that punch as Levin's stability was broken and he coughed up a mouthful of saliva because of that blow.
"That was a good one"
"Indeed, a good one"
Wiping the blood off his nose, Li Sheng complimented Levin as the latter also did the same while chuckling.
Once Levin regained his stability, Li Sheng then rushed forward and throw a feint punch which made Levin raise his guard up, but Li Sheng just kicked him by the leg to trip him. Levin fell to the ground but he grabbed Li Sheng's robe once again to prevent falling and then delivered a bicycle kick on Li Sheng's back.
The two of them exchanged blows one after another, their subordinates who are watching from the sidelines just kept quiet and admired their bosses fighting against each other. They thought that they are both monsters at the age of 16, what's more if they get their blessing? They cannot begin to imagine.
The fight went on for much longer until Li Sheng suffered a broken nose and a swelling eyes, and Levin also suffered a cut on his face, swelling eyes, broken nose and a bruise on his stomach.
The two of them were covered in each other's blood as the light in their eyes still did not go off.
"Still wanna continue?"
The blonde man asked as Li Sheng just stood in silence. He was about to deliver another blow when a sword was thrown between the two of them and it stabbed the ground.
Everyone in the area was astonished including Li Sheng and Levin. They turned to where the sword had came from and they saw a woman with Purple hair and amethyst eyes wearing a knight clothing. Her playful smile truly make her very charming.
Walking at the center where Levin and Li Sheng was fighting, the woman chuckled as she was given way because of the aura that she gave. She was formidable.
"If you truly wish to continue fighting and die before receiving your blessings then take up that sword and kill each other"
She uttered with a chuckle.
Seeing that woman, Levin just shrugged and sigh upon realizing that she was a knight and he stood no chance. Li Sheng meanwhile, just frowned at her appearance. Glancing at the sword infront of him, he pulled it out from the ground which greatly surprised Levin and the other people in the area.
"Wait, you are seriously gonna kill me? Do you hate me that much? The invasion was just a joke!"
The Blonde guy uttered in nervousness as Li Sheng just stared at the blade of the sword, his eyes were reflected on it.
"Wow~ you really are bloodthirsty, huh*
The woman chuckled upon seeing Li Sheng grab the sword. She also let out a whistle and prepared for the entertainment that she was going to witness.
"I am not going to kill you, Levin"
"Eh? Then why did you take the sword?"
Levin let out an astonished question as he distsnced himself from the dangerous Li Sheng.
"You must know that I hate it when others are trespassing my territory without my permission...."
"So you really are going to kill me....."
Li Sheng ignored Levin as he glared at the woman who intervened their fight. Raising the sword, he pointed it towards the woman.
"But I also hate people who interfere with my fights. Prepare yourself woman, I will cut you down with your very own sword."
