I moved like a ghost.
The dark safehouse loomed ahead, shrouded in shadows, with vines curling along its crumbling brick walls like nature trying to reclaim something unnatural. It was tucked away on the edge of the city,a forgotten piece of architecture, far from curious eyes. The intel was clear: if I could infiltrate it and steal the files on Snow's twin-sister operation, we might finally dismantle the network poisoning Eira's name.
And maybe,maybe,I'd start to earn her trust again.
I didn't have a team. No backup. No failsafe. Just me, my blades, and a pulse pounding in my throat like war drums.
I scaled the west side with nimble fingers, slipping through a second-story window after disabling the rusted alarm wires. My boots barely made a sound as I landed on the creaky floorboards.
