Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: I Won, Unexpected Visit

The servants stood frozen, jaws dropped. Rohan, Reyansh, and Kavya exchanged confused glances.

The scene shifted to the stadium—now nothing but ruins. Dust and rubble surrounded the once-grand arena, its center completely obliterated. In the middle of the destruction stood two figures—Arjun and Butler Charlie—eyes locked, both smiling faintly, their chests rising and falling heavily.

Arjun's body suddenly trembled, and he dropped to one knee.

Kavya, Rohan, and Reyansh gasped in shock. The servants smiled faintly, thinking victory was butler Charlie's.

But then, Butler Charlie's eyes dimmed, and he collapsed to the ground.

Arjun slammed his fist against the broken ground and roared, "I WON!!!"

The servants froze in disbelief before rushing to Butler Charlie's side. Rohan stood stunned. He knew Butler Charlie's strength—an experienced, almost unbeatable warrior—and yet, Arjun had defeated him.

Kavya and Reyansh smiled, with Reyansh jumping in joy.

Butler Charlie, still breathing heavily, let out a deep laugh. The servants helped him up, asking with concern, "Mr. Butler, are you okay?"

Charlie chuckled. "I am more than okay… It's been over a decade since I've fought like this."

Arjun approached him with a bright grin. "It was a great battle." He extended his fist.

Charlie smirked and fist-bumped in return. Joy and mutual respect shimmered between them.

Five hours later – New York Airport

Arjun and his team stood ready for departure. Butler Charlie had come to see them off, accompanied by several servants. Reyansh and Arjun looked excited, while Kavya remained composed and calm.

Charlie's eyes lingered on Rohan. Wiping a tear from his right eye, he said softly, "Young Master, I hope you do well. Please, take care of yourself."

Rohan smiled. "Don't worry, Butler Charlie. If something happens to me, I have a fascinating team to help me." He glanced over his shoulder toward Arjun, Kavya, and Reyansh.

Arjun had his hand on Reyansh's shoulder, both grinning. Kavya stood with arms folded, smiling faintly. Charlie knew their strength and relaxed. Lowering his head, he closed his eyes with a content smile.

Rohan turned, waved goodbye, and boarded the plane with his team.

---

On the flight – Business Class

Reyansh devoured his luxury five-star meal while Rohan sat gazing out the window. Kavya and Arjun shared a row—Kavya sleeping peacefully while Arjun sipped a chocolate milkshake and reading a novel. I Become Sect Master in Another World by Stormknight9.

Seventeen hours later, the plane landed at New Delhi Airport. Reyansh stretched, Rohan collected his luggage, Kavya scrolled through her phone, and Arjun yawned.

Kavya noticed. "Why do you look so tired? Don't tell me you didn't sleep the whole flight."

Arjun scratched his head sheepishly. "Ahh… hahahaha. Actually, I was reading a really interesting novel. I forgot to sleep."

Kavya sighed.

"Hey," Rohan interrupted, "I booked the cab. Let's go."

Arjun frowned. "How do you even know our address?"

"Oh, Reyansh told me," Rohan replied casually.

---

At their apartment

Arjun collapsed onto his bed, completely drained.

Rohan looked around awkwardly. "Big bro… why are we in this storage room.?"

Reyansh was caught off guard by his sudden question.

Kavya, making herself tea, said, "Sorry to disappoint you, but this is our house."

Realization hit Rohan like thunder. His jaw dropped.

Reyansh patted his shoulder. "I know it's smaller than your room, but please adjust. We're poor."

Arjun lay there, silently cursing them in his heart.

---

Moments later

A shadow appeared outside their door, followed by a knock.

Kavya, Reyansh, and Rohan, sitting at the table having breakfast, turned their heads toward the sound.

"Was someone supposed to come today?" Reyansh asked.

"No idea," Kavya replied.

The knocking grew louder.

Arjun emerged from his room, yawning. "Can you please let me sleep?" He spotted them still eating and sighed. "Why didn't you open the door?"

They ignored him.

"I'll remember this," he muttered, heading toward the door.

The knocking turned rapid.

"Coming, coming! Are you going to break the door?"

He opened it—and froze.

Riyaan stood there, smiling.

Arjun immediately slammed the door shut, clutching his head in panic.

His team looked at him. Kavya asked, "What happened? You look like you saw a ghost."

Arjun's voice trembled. "It's worse than a ghost…"

A voice came from outside. "Hey! What do you mean by that? Open the door!"

Reluctantly, Arjun opened it.

Riyaan cracked his knuckles. "You really dared to close the door on my face? What do you think you're doing?"

Arjun smiled awkwardly. "Misunderstanding… complete misunderstanding."

Riyaan stepped inside, scanning the room. "So… you made a team. Impressive. You're progressing quickly."

Kavya stood. "Arjun, who is he?"

Riyaan answered, "I'm Riyaan, squad leader of the MAGNET in new dehli."

They all froze.

Reyansh's memory clicked. "Wait, isn't he your friend? The one who gave you that fighter jet?"

Arjun tried to shut him up with hand signals, but Riyaan raised an eyebrow. "Oh? I don't recall giving you a jet…"

Arjun stammered. "Yeah, yeah… just a misunderstanding."

"Oh really?" Riyaan said, pulling out a tablet. "Then why am I looking at CCTV footage of someone who looks exactly like you… stealing one of my jets?"

Arjun's eyes widened. "Wait… but I checked! There's no CCT—" He stopped mid-sentence, realizing his mistake.

His team stared at him in silence, clearly cursing him in their minds.

Later

Riyaan sipped tea. "You really dared to steal a jet from our headquarters. Bold move."

Arjun sat like a kid caught cheating in an exam.

Riyaan leaned forward. "You stole my jet… and crashed it. So tell me, how will you compensate me?"

Arjun groaned. "Please don't joke. You know my condition. I'm broke."

"True," Riyaan said, "but don't worry—you can compensate me in other ways."

Arjun looked suspicious.

"I have a mission for you," Riyaan continued. "Complete it, and we're even."

Arjun smirked. "Is that so. If you need my help, you can just ask directly. No need for blackmail. I accept."

A devilish smile curved Riyaan's lips. "I'm giving you a chance to repay me. Otherwise, how would you compensate me? You're poor."

The words struck Arjun's heart like an arrow. "You didn't need to say it like that…"

"Funny," Riyaan said, "you're accepting without even asking about the mission."

Kavya interjected, "Yeah, Arjun. If he's blackmailing you, it's definitely not simple."

Arjun puffed out his chest. "Don't worry. I'm too strong."

Riyaan's grin deepened—like a hunter whose trap had just sprung shut.
