Glug, glug, glug, glug...
"Ha! That hits the spot!"
Victor had never seen someone chug strong liquor like it was beer.
Tsunade watched him sip from his small cup and couldn't help but complain. "Are you a little girl? You drink so slowly. You should learn from me!"
"Shouldn't strong liquor be savored slowly to appreciate its flavor?"
As the saying goes, even if you've never eaten pork, you've seen a pig run.
Although Victor had never drunk alcohol before, he understood that strong liquor should be enjoyed in small cups to fully appreciate it.
"Tsk, only little girls drink like that."
Tsunade took two more gulps, and gradually, a rosy blush spread across her fair cheeks.
Seeing this, Victor couldn't help but ask, "Hey, you're not using your spiritual power to dispel the alcohol, are you?"
Tsunade rolled her eyes. "We're already out drinking. Why would I use spiritual energy to dispel the alcohol? Wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose?"
She had a point.
"Come on! What are you waiting for? Keep drinking!"
"Alright! I'll get drunk with you today!"
"Hahaha! Great! We won't go home until we're drunk!"
"Won't go home until we're drunk!"
Half an hour later, both Victor and Tsunade stumbled out of the izakaya, their faces flushed as they supported each other on the way back to the Senju residence.
"Hey, Victor... hic! You're just a... playboy! And... hic, a really big playboy!"
"Can't help it. The girls in the group are all so pretty. If I don't accept them, how can I be worthy of my identity as a transmigrator... hic?"
"So, am I beautiful too?"
Tsunade suddenly leaned in close, her face inches from his, staring at his handsome features with a dazed expression.
"Beautiful! Of course... you're beautiful!"
Victor answered without hesitation, bringing a smile to Tsunade's face.
"Hehehe... you can talk!"
Mmph!
A kiss with the faint taste of alcohol pressed against Victor's lips.
"This is a... reward for you! Do you like it? Hic!"
"I like it! But hic... it's not enough!"
Victor wrapped his arm around Tsunade's slender waist and teleported them back to her room.
He gently laid her on the bed, removing his outer robe as he moved closer.
Tsunade's eyes flashed with momentary panic, and some semblance of rationality flickered back into her gaze.
But that rationality was quickly overwhelmed by an inexplicable rush of emotion.
She took the initiative to undress herself and opened her arms to welcome him.
Soon, the room filled with pleasant sounds.
Time passed, and morning came.
Victor woke slowly from his sleep, taking in the unfamiliar room and the lingering scent in the air. A strange yet familiar memory surfaced in his mind.
After collecting his thoughts, Victor couldn't help but chuckle.
"Is this what they mean by 'alcohol emboldens the coward'? I never thought Tsunade would be so wild when drunk."
He glanced to the side. The familiar figure was gone.
Only a red stain on the bedsheet remained as proof of last night's fierce battle.
Stretching, Victor picked up his clothes from the floor and got dressed before leaving the room.
When he reached the main hall, he found the house empty.
However, a delicious breakfast with a fragrant aroma still sat waiting on the table.
"She left pretty fast." Victor smiled and quickly finished the meal.
Then he flashed directly to the Hokage's office.
Looking at Tsunade busily processing documents, Victor felt a pang of sympathy.
"Can't you rest a little longer? It's your first time, and you were still so wild last night."
When Tsunade raised her head, Victor noticed her cheeks had already turned as red as apples.
"Do you think everyone's like you with nothing to do?"
Victor walked over and sat beside Tsunade, putting his arm around her slender waist.
"You don't have to do everything yourself. There are definitely a few people in Konoha you can completely trust, right?"
"You could delegate authority and let them handle less important matters."
Tsunade rubbed her temples. "I understand the logic, but right now, the entire village is short on manpower. I wish I could split myself into two people. There's no one who can share these responsibilities with me."
"If it really doesn't work, how about I send a few people over to help?"
"Are you willing to send your beloved wives here to suffer?"
"Ahem, I didn't say to send them. I'll just recruit a few people with management experience soon."
Victor couldn't bear to see Tsunade suffer, and naturally, he couldn't bear to see his beloved wives suffer either.
Tsunade waved her hand. "Forget it. I'm not used to using outsiders, and after sending them over, I'd have to make sure they keep secrets. That's even more troublesome."
"Alright then."
Victor didn't press the issue. He picked up the unprocessed documents beside him and helped Tsunade review them.
Time passed minute by minute. Before they knew it, it was noon.
After finishing the lunch brought by Nawaki, the two continued working on the documents.
But then the door was pushed open, and Shizune walked in with a serious expression.
"Lady Tsunade, Lord Victor, we've just received intelligence that someone spotted Otsutsuki Urashiki near the former site of the Hidden Cloud Village."
The moment she spoke, Tsunade's head snapped up.
"Really?"
Shizune nodded. "Yes. According to eyewitnesses, this person was dressed in white with a pale complexion, had horns on his head, light blue hair, and white eyes. With that appearance, it must be Otsutsuki Urashiki!"
Hearing this, Tsunade turned to look at Victor.
Victor naturally understood what she meant.
"I'll go take a look."
After saying that, Victor vanished.
Tsunade then said to Shizune, "Call Boruto."
"Yes!"
On the other side, after leaving the Hokage's office, Victor went straight to the former site of the Hidden Cloud Village in the Land of Lightning.
Actually, it shouldn't be called the Land of Lightning anymore.
The Land of Lightning had long been destroyed and annexed by the Land of Fire.
Returning here after a few months, the scene before him hadn't changed much.
The deep crater still remained, and the flowers, grass, and trees that had been broken now grew back.
Victor expanded his spiritual sense and scanned the surroundings, but unfortunately, he didn't find Otsutsuki Urashiki.
He did, however, find another acquaintance.
He turned his head toward the jungle behind him. "Why do you always appear in the woods? Is this your spawn point or something?"
The adult version of Sasuke walked out. "It seems you also received the news?"
Victor nodded. "That's right, but it looks like the guy already left."
"Yeah, he probably left the ninja world and went into outer space."
The adult Sasuke looked up at the sky.
"I saw that guy fly into space with my own eyes."
Hearing this, Victor expanded the range of his spiritual awareness, instantly covering the entire ninja world.
Just as Sasuke said, there was no figure resembling Otsutsuki Urashiki anywhere on this planet.
Not only that, Victor couldn't find him anywhere in the entire star system either.
