Chapter 198 - Chapter 198: Robin's Return

When Victor and the others returned to the rendezvous point, Himeko and the rest of the crew had already arrived ahead of them.

And they weren't alone, Robin was with them.

She had soft features and lake-green eyes, her long lavender hair cascading down her back. She wore a gorgeous dress with purple ruffles layered across the chest, accented by flowing staff patterns and star accessories. An exquisite musical note badge adorned the ensemble.

A halo floated above her head, and a pair of white wings graced her back and behind her ears, just like an angel from legend.

That delicate, picturesque face wore a smile as gentle as a spring breeze, her entire presence radiating a noble and elegant aura.

This was Robin, the famous singer known across the galaxy.

In person, she looked even better than her in-game model.

Even Victor found himself taking a few extra glances.

Those glances quickly earned him a sharp pinch on both sides of his waist from Stelle and Markh 7th.

Himeko asked, "You're back. Did you find the Watchmaker's legacy?"

Victor calmly pried Stelle and Markh's hands away from his waist and nodded. "We found it, and we got some other benefits too."

"Really? What did you get?"

"Stelle caught Xipe's attention and received a blessing from Harmony."

At those words, both Himeko and Welt showed clear surprise.

Was she noticed by another Aeon?

Stelle really was popular among the Star Gods.

When Robin heard this, surprise flickered across her face, followed by a hint of unease.

"The arrival of Harmony at this moment... does it really mean something? And why does my brother want to restore order to Penacony?"

Seeing her reaction, Victor realized that Himeko and Welt must have already spoken with Robin.

"This may be related to your childhood experiences."

"My childhood experiences?"

At Victor's words, Robin recalled memories from long ago.

Though most were good memories, there were also pains she would never forget.

"Let's go," Victor said, waving his hand. "Now that we're all here, let's put a stop to Sunday's plans."

He turned and led everyone toward the fog.

Passing through the mist, they returned to the Golden Hour.

But something was off, this once-vibrant district now felt strangely melancholic.

The bustling streets that had been crowded with people just hours ago were now deserted and lifeless.

"Something's wrong here," Welt murmured, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

Markh nodded. "Yeah, where did everyone go?"

There had been so many people here when they left. How could everyone have disappeared in such a short time?

Victor carefully extended his spiritual sense, expanding it slowly to avoid contact with anyone else's mental power.

"Not only is the Golden Hour empty, everywhere else seems empty too."

Stelle scratched the back of her head. "Could they have all been kicked out of the dream?"

"No," Robin shook her head. "If it were someone else, they might be expelled from the dreamscape for violating the rules. But there are tens of millions of dreamchasers in Penacony. It's impossible for the five major families to expel so many people from the dream unless they've gone completely insane."

"Forget it," Victor said. "No matter where these people went, we have more important things to deal with right now. We don't have time to worry about their whereabouts."

He turned to Robin. "Then I'll have to trouble Miss Robin to take us to Dewlight Pavilion."

At this point in the timeline, there were still a few days until the final confrontation from the original story.

According to his calculations, Sunday should currently be at Dewlight Pavilion.

However, the heads of the five major families gathered there regularly to discuss important matters.

Except for invited guests, no one else was allowed to enter.

So they needed Robin to take them there.

Robin nodded. "Of course, please follow, "

Before she could finish her sentence, a violent tremor suddenly shook the ground beneath them.

Robin nearly lost her balance and stumbled forward.

Seeing this, Victor quickly stepped to her side, wrapping his arm around her waist and steadying her against his chest.

"Are you all right?"

"I-I'm fine. Thank you."

Feeling the unfamiliar warmth of someone else's embrace, Robin's cheeks flushed, her heart pounding like a startled deer.

This man was unfairly handsome, more so than any she'd ever met in her travels across the cosmos.

After a moment, the shaking finally subsided.

"What was that? An earthquake?" Markh asked, shocked.

Stelle immediately retorted, "Don't be silly, Markh. This is a dream, how could there be an earthquake?"

Markh fired back indignantly, "Who are you calling silly? And I'm older than you, so it's Sister Markh to you! Besides, couldn't it be that the earthquake in reality was felt by our bodies and transmitted to our consciousness in the dream?"

Victor shook his head. "Your reasoning makes sense, but unfortunately, what just happened wasn't an earthquake. It was the aftermath of an explosion."

He raised his head and looked into the distance.

A mushroom cloud rose slowly into the sky.

And within the black fog, a silver-white figure loomed.

"That's the direction of Dewlight Pavilion!" Robin's expression changed instantly.

Victor nodded thoughtfully. "Looks like someone's already engaged Sunday in battle."

"Then let's not waste any time."

"Right!"

Everyone ignored Penacony's rules and flew directly into the air toward the battlefield.

Robin found herself carried in Victor's arms.

She looked up at his focused expression. She actually wanted to say that she could fly on her own.

But after thinking about it, she said nothing.

In just moments, they arrived above the battlefield.

Just then, a figure in combat armor shot up into the sky, appearing before them.

"Firefly, were you the one fighting just now?" Stelle asked, looking confused at the armored warrior before her.

This was the Star Core Hunter SAM, or rather, Firefly.

When Firefly heard Stelle call her name directly, astonishment crossed her delicate face beneath the helmet.

"So you've known my true identity all along?"

Stelle nodded. "Yeah, I've known for a while." After all, there's someone around me who likes to spoil the plot.

Long before arriving at Penacony, Victor had told the train crew information about key figures they'd encounter here.

Firefly couldn't help but smile bitterly. "I was performing in front of you all along, but it turns out I was exposed from the start."

"I didn't expect to find you here."

A voice from the ground interrupted their conversation.

Firefly's expression shifted slightly.

"That didn't hurt him at all?"

As the dust cleared, a man with a halo above his head and wings behind his ears stood calmly among the ruins, not a single scratch on him despite the collapsed buildings around him.

The man's eyes swept across everyone before finally stopping on the girl in Victor's arms. He sighed softly.

"Sister, you finally came here after all."
