"It really disappeared completely. I wasn't dreaming. That voice... could it be that the person who saved me was Mr. Victor?"
Victor could never have anticipated that Hoshino Ai hadn't been entirely unconscious during her critical state.
Just as she teetered on the edge of death, she had faintly heard the conversation between the three people.
She found two of the voices very familiar, those belonging to Victor and Belle.
Because both individuals held special significance for her, she had memorized their voices clearly.

The sound of emergency sirens reached her ears, snapping Hoshino Ai back to reality.
"Regardless of the circumstances, I will definitely find you and thank you personally for saving my life!" Hoshino Ai resolved silently in her heart.
Meanwhile, Victor and Belle had returned to the seaside manor.
Naturally, Emi Yusa accompanied them as well.
"Thank you."
After accepting the hot tea offered by Kanae, Emi Yusa expressed her gratitude politely.
She appeared composed on the surface, but internally she felt utterly astounded.

In the original story, she had been pursuing the Demon Lord when both were transported to modern Japan.
However, that was merely the original anime plot and couldn't necessarily be used as a reliable reference.
