"Are you both ready?"
Victor held two pieces of Cursed Gear in his hands, looking at Asuramaru and Mahiru with serious determination.
The two souls nodded in unison. "We're ready."
Hearing their confirmation, Victor channeled spiritual power through his hands and directly shattered the demon weapons that bound their souls.
As the containers holding the two spirits were destroyed, their souls transformed into brilliant blue energy and merged with the Gedo Statue.
Victor observed the process carefully and nodded with satisfaction. "The soul transfer appears successful."
Krul and Shinoa, who had been watching anxiously from the sidelines, both released sighs of relief.
Without hesitation, Victor began performing the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique once more.
This time, the jutsu finally lived up to everyone's expectations and succeeded perfectly!
As the resurrection ritual concluded, the two figures lying motionless on the ground slowly opened their eyes.
"Success! We did it!"
Krul rushed forward excitedly and embraced her newly revived brother.
Shinoa also moved to hug her sister, but as soon as she approached, she received a sharp flick to the forehead as her reward.
"Ow! What was that for?" Shinoa complained, rubbing her head.
"That's your punishment for deliberately showing your sister's naked body to strangers," Mahiru scolded while carefully wrapping her robe around herself, doing her best to maintain her modesty.
"Does anyone have suitable clothing? I could really use something to wear."
Krul and the others shook their heads helplessly.
Their clothes were far too small for Mahiru, in every conceivable way.
"If you don't mind, you can borrow mine temporarily."
Stelle tossed a white dress shirt to Mahiru without hesitation.
"Thank you so much!"
Mahiru wasn't one to stand on ceremony. After catching the shirt, she quickly hurried to a nearby grove of trees for privacy.
A few minutes later, she emerged wearing the borrowed garment.
While Krul and Shinoa's clothes were indeed too small for Mahiru's mature figure, Stelle's shirt proved to be slightly too large, giving it the appearance of an oversized boyfriend's shirt on her petite frame.
"What are your plans from here?" Victor asked both Hiiragi sisters.
"Naturally, we're returning to our original world. After all, I still have some unfinished business to settle there," Mahiru replied first, her voice carrying an unmistakable edge of deadly intent.
Upon hearing this declaration, Shinoa hesitated, seeming to want to say something but holding back.
She had originally hoped to bring her sister to Stelle's world to teach her immortal cultivation techniques, but since Mahiru had already made her decision, Shinoa would respect her wishes.
"I'll be going with them as well."
At that moment, Asuramaru, or rather, Ashera, as he should now be called, spoke up.
His announcement surprised everyone present.
"Brother, you're not returning to our world with us?" Krul asked with evident concern.
Ashera shook his head firmly. "I also have some old scores to settle."
After his resurrection, he had recovered many forgotten memories from his past life.
That was precisely why he needed to return to the Seraph world.
More importantly, though his sister now had a loving home, he still hoped to find his other half, the missing piece of his soul.
His intuition told him that his other half remained in their original world.
"In that case, let's part ways here for now."
After Victor finished speaking, he immediately opened a dimensional portal and departed with Krul back to their own world.
Following their farewells to Stelle, Shinoa also left alongside Mahiru and Ashera.
After returning home, Victor immediately opened the chat group interface and shared the final results of the resurrection experiment with the other members.
[Tokisaki Kurumi]: So if we want to revive the dead, we must bring both the deceased's physical remains and their soul to the ninja world, correct?
[Victor]: That's exactly right.
[Tokisaki Kurumi]: I see...
Tokisaki Kurumi sighed, feeling somewhat disheartened.
While she knew where her friend's body was located, the matter of her soul remained completely unknown.
She wasn't even certain whether souls existed in her world at all.
[Tohsaka Rin]: It seems we'll have to wait for alternative resurrection methods to become available.
Tohsaka Rin found herself in a similar predicament to Kurumi's.
Moreover, she had quite a few people she desperately wanted to bring back to life.
Her mother, her father, and that dear childhood classmate...
[Victor]: I'll upload both the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique and the Edo Tensei jutsu to the shop. You can purchase whichever ones you need.
After making this announcement, Victor proceeded to rename both techniques appropriately and upload them to the chat group mall.
[Lumine]: Ahahaha! Guess what happened!
[Victor]: Lumine, are you having some kind of mental breakdown?
[Lumine]: Hey! You're the one having a breakdown!
[Victor]: Then why are you laughing like a maniac?
[Lumine]: See for yourself! [Photo attached]
Driven by curiosity, Victor clicked on the image Lumine had shared.
The photo showed her making a victory sign toward the camera, while behind her lay a blonde man with a severely bruised and swollen face. Two Abyss Heralds were desperately trying to help him stand.
Looking more closely at the beaten figure, Victor realized it was none other than Aether, Lumine's twin brother!
[Victor]: Good grief, what a devoted sister you are!
[Lumine]: Hehehe, thanks for the compliment!
[Stelle]: Lumine, don't you usually have an excellent relationship with your brother? Why did you suddenly beat him up so badly?
[Lumine]: He had it coming for always being such a riddler!
[Victor]: Excellent work! All riddlers should get out of Teyvat!
[Lumine]: Exactly! All you riddlers need to leave! And this guy isn't just a riddler, he also had the audacity to try acting all mysterious in front of me.
[Victor]: By the way, shouldn't you be heading to Sumeru next, Lumine?
[Lumine]: No rush, no rush. Now that I know my brother is doing fine, I can take my time with the journey.
[Victor]: ...
If this continued, the little Dendro Archon of Sumeru would probably have to remain imprisoned for quite a while longer.
Not only that, but Fontaine and Natlan would likely have to wait considerably longer before Lumine could arrive to resolve their respective crises.
Fontaine might manage fine, but Victor wasn't certain whether Natlan could hold out until Lumine's eventual arrival.
Just as Victor was lost in these contemplations, Shinobu approached him alongside Kanae and Kanao Tsuyuri.
"Darling, I'm planning to take my sister back to our hometown," Shinobu announced.
Victor looked puzzled by this sudden decision. "Why do you want to return there so suddenly?"
Shinobu replied earnestly, "We want to see if there's any possibility of reviving our parents."
"Ah, I understand completely. Go ahead then. Would you like me to accompany you?"
If Shinobu hadn't mentioned it, Victor would have completely forgotten about his deceased in-laws.
"That's not necessary. We can handle this ourselves."
Watching the Kocho sisters depart, Victor was about to refocus his attention on the chat group when another figure entered his field of vision.
It was Krul, who had somehow slipped away at some point and now returned.
She was currently wearing a white bathrobe that covered her entire body, though it seemed deliberately loose.
"Master, it's getting quite late, don't you think it's time to rest?" she suggested with a meaningful look.
Victor paused in confusion and glanced out the window at the brilliant blue sky. Bright afternoon sunlight streamed through the glass, illuminating the room with dazzling clarity.
Seeing the obvious daylight, Krul's face flushed bright red. She realized she had used completely inappropriate timing, but she didn't bother correcting herself.
"There's no hurry. Let's wait until evening."
It was broad daylight outside, and Victor didn't particularly feel like engaging in such activities during the day.
Right now, he simply wanted to continue chatting with the girls in the group.
However, the rejected Krul didn't retreat. Instead, she began untying her white bathrobe, revealing the alluring lingerie beneath.
"Master, are you absolutely certain you want to wait until tonight?"
Victor's eyes widened instantly at the provocative display. After regaining his composure, he cleared his throat and declared with mock seriousness, "Ahem, I forgot to mention that I'm currently living on the other side of the world, so right now is actually the perfect time!"
With that excuse, he scooped Krul into his arms and headed toward the bedroom.
Chat with the group?
How could chatting possibly be more important than spending quality time with his adorable little maid?
