A warm embrace enveloped Asher. Tiamat still sat quietly, cross-legged by the shore. Her size was much smaller than when she first appeared, but in the darkness, her red cross-shaped pupils remained bright, their gaze captivating. However, her gaze wasn't intentionally meant to inspire fear; her eyes had always been like this.

The current Tiamat... was afraid of something. Perhaps sensing that the young man in her embrace had been woken by the thunder, her hand gently tightened, pulling Asher closer. She continuously stroked his head, as if comforting him. She truly resembled a wounded animal mother, utterly terrified but still constantly comforting her child.

"It's okay... it's just thunder, nothing will happen, don't worry." Asher cautiously reached out for Tiamat's hand, gently holding it, while observing her expression. Small animals are very sensitive when injured. If someone not particularly close were to reach out rashly, they might even get severely bitten. Asher didn't know if he was considered close to Tiamat right now, so his movements were extremely cautious.

He held her soft, small hand, clearly feeling it trembling slightly, as if she were afraid of something. "It's okay, there's no one else here, it's alright..." Asher said again softly, in a calm tone. Tiamat looked down at him and gently let out a sound. It was this kind of weather back then when the gods attacked her... that's what she said.

"There are no gods now, and no one will harm you, everything is over," Asher gently cupped her hand, looking into her eyes and saying again, "Everyone respects you." "Yes... everything has passed, nothing will happen now." Asher said softly again. Tiamat gazed at Asher, staring into his eyes, dark and with a hint of golden light.

Then, she leaned down slightly, slowly wrapping her arms around Asher's neck, her entire body pressing against his. However, her body was still too large to fully feel the warmth of her child, so her size slowly shrunk further, until finally, she was only slightly larger than Asher. She had no intention of letting go, holding Asher's neck tightly.

Asher could only return the embrace, stroking her scattered cyan hair. The seawater surged, and a few drops of water splashed onto Asher's face. Tiamat extended her soft, small tongue and licked away the water droplets from his face. Then, she leaned close to his ear and said in a very faint voice: "Aaaaa (Everyone, and gods, are all enemies, they want to kill me)"

"No, no one wants to kill you now. Everyone doesn't dislike you." Asher replied in an equally faint voice. He didn't want to break this tranquility. Tiamat stopped speaking, merely looking up at the night sky, watching the rolling thunder and lightning, perhaps in a daze, or perhaps pondering something.

"Aaaaa" "Are you asking me what the outside world is like now?" Asher asked. Tiamat gently hummed. Asher thought for a moment and then said, "It's probably very different from the era you lived in. Humans in this era live by farming and herding, which is self-sufficient.

Then, humans, using their wisdom, created many things.

Technology is getting better and better, and humans have more choices. There are devices that can communicate no matter how far apart, and many other high-tech machines."

"Aaaaaa(Where did all the gods go?)"

"The gods later disappeared," Asher said. "But humans didn't rely on gods; they created everything I just mentioned with their own hands."

"Aaaa (Very impressive)" Tiamat didn't give up asking there; she continued to inquire about more things, from the current era to the future. She didn't seem to wonder why Asher knew how future technology would develop, or perhaps she just didn't care about such things. Clearly, Tiamat had been sleeping in the imaginary space for a very long time, unaware of anything outside. She simply believed that since the gods attacked her then, the humans created by the gods would also attack her.

"Aaaaa (So that's what the world became)" "This is the result of human wisdom," Asher said again.

"Aaaaaa (I like the humans you speak of very much)" "Then isn't that great?" Tiamat stopped speaking, merely looking up at the night sky and the vast sea in the distance.

"Aaaaaa (But there's no place for me there)" Tiamat had always been sleeping in that imaginary space, a place where no existence could enter. Like a tiny creature sealed in a box, until one day the box was opened, and she awoke from her long slumber. But humans would be afraid of her, because she was both the Progenitor Goddess and the Evil of Humanity. So, she wanted to create new humans. Only new humans wouldn't hate her.

"It's okay." Asher shook his head and said softly.

"Aaaaa (The outside world, there's no place for me)" "It's okay," he said again.

"AAaaaa(Humans will definitely be afraid of me)" "Perhaps so," Asher stopped arguing, raised his hand, stroked her head, and said seriously, "This is very normal. You are the Progenitor Goddess; everyone will revere you, even fear you... but even so, it's okay."

"Aaaa" A confused sound came from her mouth.

Asher simply broke free from Tiamat's embrace. Then, under her bewildered gaze, he put one arm around her neck and gently pressed her head into his chest. "No one can make anyone like them." "Even if humans don't like you... but at least, I'm still here," he said softly.

Tiamat slowly looked up. Under the night sky, dark clouds rolled, and streaks of lightning flickered within the clouds. There was no light on the coast, but her eyes were brighter than ever. She gazed at Asher with a bewildered look, then slowly, her eyes gradually became clear. She reached out and cupped Asher's face. Tiamat's beautiful face slowly drew closer to Asher. She stared intently into Asher's eyes. Though it was only a small distance, the approach felt exceptionally long. The distance grew closer, yet she clearly felt more and more uneasy.

This was the first time she had actively approached a humanor rather, a god with a more intimate relationship. She didn't seem to have considered what would happen if Asher were to escape at that moment. But Asher remained motionless, simply meeting her gaze, unable to look away. And so, he watched as Tiamat's distance from him closed little by little, until finally, their lips met.

The sound of thunder vanished, and the cracked earth silently merged back together, as if the entire world had returned to silence.
