Nick's POV
Watching Georgia's reaction to my question was downright entertaining. Her eyes widened, brows contorted, and her lips parted in disbelief.
Like she couldn't decide whether to laugh, scream, or faint. I live for those weird, expressive faces of hers. They pull me out of my darkness faster than anything else.
I had just asked her if she wanted to get married on this island, but judging by the explosion brewing in her eyes, my idea didn't exactly align with hers.
"Absolutely not!" she snapped, nostrils flaring. "We don't even know who owns this island, and do you know how expensive it is to fly in wedding stuff and people? Be serious, Nick!"
There she goes again—one second all soft and sweet, the next, a raging wildfire. And damn, I find it sexy as hell.
Before she transformed into a full-blown storm, I jumped in to clarify.
