Opening theme song: "Far Away" by Nickelback
Anxious and scared, Wuba-Fa hovers into the large dining hall, the soft glow of lanterns casting a warm light on the students' faces.
Their tiny wings flapping behind them as they scan the room, the murmur of conversations and clinking utensils filling the air.
"Where do you think Miss will be?" Wuba asked Wufa, who flew ahead, hovering up and down, searching for any sign of Kimora.
"We've searched the whole sect, yet no sign of her," Wufa explained, frustration etched on his face.
Wuba's eyes lit up as if realizing something.
"Right, why don't we ask Old Master's disciple - Jaden Fang?
We witnessed how he dragged Miss Kimora away?" Wufa's expression turned cautious, his eyes narrowing at the mention of Jaden's name.
"Can you be serious now?" He thundered, his voice barely above a whisper, but laced with concern.
Everyone knew how dangerous the Fang brothers were, especially the Old Master's disciple, Jaden Fang.
"What do you make me suggest? Who knows what my miss is going through?" Wuba asked, crystal-colored tears welling up in her eyes.
Wufa's face softened, and he placed a reassuring hand on Wuba's shoulder.
"Wufa, do you think those beast fangs are harming our Miss?" Wuba asked, her voice low as she sniffed back her tears. Wufa's face turned pale, and he lost his words, growing scared at the moment.
"It's you two!" Taj's voice broke in, startling the duo.
He walked into the dining hall, his eyes scanning the room before landing on the two fairy spirits, guardians of Kimora.
He walked towards them in big strides, his hands on his hips.
"Why is it just you two? Where is Kimora?" He question, his expression aching with worry.
"We haven't seen her since the training ground incident," Wufa informed.
Taj's face turned into a deep frown, his eyes scanning the hall as if searching for answers. The students around them continued eating, oblivious to the tension.
"Come on, let's go look for her," he said and turned to leave the dining hall.
As he walked out, he bumped into Ohmkatapon, who was just entering the hall.
"What's the rush?" Ohmkatapon asked, feeling skeptical.
"To find Kimora. She's missing," Taj retorted and moved past him without stopping.
Ohmkatapon's expression turned serious, and he jogged after Taj and Wuba-Fa.
"Wait, I'm coming with you," he said, his voice filled with determination.
…..
Somewhere miles away from Linyan Sect,
A while dove flew across bridges, paths through the woods, rivers, and shores, a castle stood, its towers piercing the night sky like giant's fists.
In the midst of a vast, snowy landscape, the earth was blanketed with sand-colored snow.
Inside the inner court of the castle, lanterns lined the hall, casting a warm glow that blurred the faces of the occupants.
The white dove flew onto the railing in front of a woman covered in a red outfit from head to toe.
She grasped the bird and untied the string of rope tied to its leg, collecting the paper attached to it before setting the bird free again.
A slight smirk appeared on her face as she read the content of the paper. She strode into the inner court with big strides, her back straight with confidence.
Her eyes were covered in a red mask, leaving half of her face open. The leather jacket and red skinny trousers accentuated her figure, and her red cape swept the floor.
"Greetings, Demon Lord. The Second has just sent a message," she said to the man seated in the huge throne in the center of the inner court.
The Demon Lord was clad in a black tonic, his long hair tied up in a high ponytail. His face was unreadable, and one couldn't tell his appearance clearly in the dim light.
He let out a low, menacing chuckle and folded the back of his palm on his jaw lazily.
"Speak," he ordered.
"As you wish, Demon Lord." The woman in red said with her head slightly bowed in respect. He flicked his hand towards her to continue.
"It states that the humans have welcomed the Taoism Bloodlines and are ready to train them to eradicate…you, Master!" She said, her voice dropping at the last minute as she tried to gauge the Demon Lord's expression.
To her amazement, the Demon Lord snuffed instead and leaned forward.
"Is that all?" he implored in an imposing manner.
"They were selected from different races." The lady replied.
The Demon Lord cocked his brows at her words. "But others from the sect are finding it hard to accept." She further added.
A wide smile broke out on the Demon Lord's face. He got up from his seat and stood up.
"Interesting, bunch of nuisances! Is this how they plan to repel me?" The Demon Lord cursed aloud. Clicking his tongue, he started walking towards Lulu.
"Lulu, the humans are like pieces of chess that will be dismantled by me soon!" he declared. Lulu didn't say a word but revealed a meaningful smile on her face.
"Come, let's take a look at my special army. Let's see how they're doing." He informed.
Lulu nodded her head in understanding. Both of them left the inner court and entered his library.
He walked closer to a shelf with a pile of books and removed a book from it. The shelf made a clicking sound, and the shelf slowly swung open, revealing a secret passageway.
Lulu and the Demon Lord stepped into the secret passageway. They descended the staircase that led them to a dark tunnel.
The Demon Lord grasped a lamp holder. With a flick of his hand, the lamp holder erupted in light.
The tunnel reeked of awful smells, but the duo seemed unbothered. Piercing cries could be heard from the end of the tunnel. Bloodstains and dark stains were on the wall.
"Wow, what do we have here?" The Demon Lord inquired in a lazy tone as he sized up a man hanging from a chain inside the tunnel.
Their hair was scattered in a disheveled manner, dark scales popping out of their hands, faces, and body.
Lulu glanced around the room, where other men were inside the tunnel in the same condition as the previous man, hanging upside down while chained up. Slow and painful groans filled the air, but only this man seemed to be in his senses.
His eyes were bloodshot as he shot daggers at the Demon Lord.
"Ye Zhen, you will never get away with this!" The man spat in anger.
"How dare you!" Lulu lashed at him, her deadly whip wrapping around the man's exposed neck.
The Demon Lord, Ye Zhen, chuckled darkly and patted the breast side of his chest to remove the invisible dirt from his clothes while beckoning Lulu to stop.
"He's a dying man, Lulu, my dear.
But his strength is useful to me in fighting the human race – the so-called cultivators." He reminded his right-hand woman, Lulu, his voice gritting with anger.
Lulu scuffed hard and pulled her whip away roughly, making the man grunt and cough out blood.
"In your dreams, Ye Zhen!" The man scolded, his whole body vibrating with anger.
"Let's see about that!" Ye Zhen retorted, his lips curling into a deadly smile.
He opened his palm, and a mini pill furnace appeared, dark smoke puffing out from it. The man's eyes suddenly lit up in horror as he realized what it was.
He started shaking, trying to free himself from the shackles of the chains. The Demon Lord, sensing his fear, smiled deeply. A satisfied grin settled on his face.
He opened the lid of the pill furnace, revealing a big black pill inside.
He dipped his hands into the pot and collected the pill. Slowly, his hand stretched towards the man's mouth with a satisfied grin.
Anxiously, the man kept moving to free himself, but Lulu cast a spell on him to freeze him in place.
The Demon Lord put the big black pill into his mouth and made sure he swallowed it. Lulu released her spell.
The man's eyes widened in fear as he felt a flow of fire rushing through him, his bones cracking in his whole body.
Suddenly, he convulsed and slumped, his head hanging low.
The Demon Lord and his subordinate, Lulu, watched him with calm expressions.
At the same time, the man raised his head again, his eyes flaring in crimson red as he started to make a strange, eerie sound.
The dark lines appeared fully, covering his entire face. Ye Zhen, the Demon Lord, erupted into a loud, satisfied laugh. Lulu stood beside him, expressionless.
"While the so-called cultivators are busy contemplating their decision,
I have a surprise for them. And it's quite a catch," the Demon Lord said with a knowing smile as he glanced over his lady-in-command, Lulu.
Lulu silently nodded her head in understanding.
With a proud smirk, the Demon Lord left from there.
"Somebody," Lulu called out, and immediately, a dark silhouette appeared in a kneeling position.
"Yes, Lady Lordship," they answered.
Lulu's gaze shifted to the now fully transformed man and then back to the dark silhouette.
"You know what to do,"
She ordered. The silhouette responded with a crisp
"Yes, my Lady Lordship" before rising to drag the man and a few other men away.
