Chapter 1 - Who Am I? – Part 1: The Hidden Flame

Three lives, bound by fire and fate. A forgotten princess. A vengeful prince. A stolen power that could destroy them all.

In a time long past, the Kingdom of Evok, home of the dragons, and the Human Kingdom coexisted in fragile harmony. Dragons soared above the clouds, majestic, wise, and ancient, while humans flourished across the earth below. Both realms prospered, each respecting the other's strengths.

But peace, as always, was a delicate thread.

Whispers began to rise, shadows whispering lies too subtle to trace. Rumors spread that dragons plotted to enslave humankind, while tales of human betrayal reached the dragon courts. Fear grew. Trust cracked. And when fear takes root, war is never far behind.

The Kingdom of Evok, ruled by King Idris and Queen Iris, found itself under siege. Humans, having turned to forbidden magic and brutal weapons, struck with shocking ferocity. They conjured dark spells, forged blades to pierce dragon scales, and set in motion schemes too cruel for even the dragons to imagine.

Dragons fought back with fire and fury, but they were outnumbered, deceived, and outmaneuvered. The skies turned to ash. Cities burned. Neither side showed mercy.

When the fires of war finally dimmed, the once-great dragon kingdom lay in ruins.

King Idris and Queen Iris had lost everything except one treasure more precious than gold or flame: their son, Prince Eric, the last heir to Evok's shattered throne.

Desperate to protect him, Queen Iris turned to a woman no dragon should ever trust: Diana, the Mountain Witch. A cruel opportunist, Diana cared only for gold and power. She agreed to hide the dragon prince in exchange for all the treasures of the dragons.

But Queen Iris knew hiding Eric wasn't enough. He would need strength. Enough power to one day reclaim what was his. The only solution was unthinkable: to place both her power and that of King Idris into a human vessel, one no one would suspect.

At that very time, a sickly human princess had been born.

Princess Luna, daughter of Queen Victoria and King Harold of the human kingdom, entered the world fragile and frail. Her hair fell out. Her breaths came shallow. Despite their joy, her parents lived in constant fear of losing her.

That frailty made her the perfect vessel.

Queen Iris shared her plan with Diana, who eagerly accepted the task for an even greater price. Under the cover of night, the witch crept into the royal nursery and stole the dying child. Deep in her mountain lair, Diana presented Lena to the last dragon monarchs. There, Queen Iris and King Idris infused all of their remaining strength into the human child.

The transformation was instant and extraordinary.

Lena's thin frame grew strong. Her weak heartbeat with draconic power. Her once-brittle hair grew thick, then turned snow-white, a mark of the immense energy now flowing through her.

Silently, Diana returned the baby to her crib.

Queen Victoria and King Harold were stunned. Their daughter, whom they had nearly buried, now laughed, thrived, and glowed with life. Only her strange white hair betrayed the mystery. Grateful, they never questioned the miracle.

But one man saw what others missed.

Orin, the king's trusted advisor, had long suspected that the war with the dragons was built on lies and fear. Watching Lena, he sensed something unnatural. Through ancient texts and deep meditation, he uncovered the truth: the power of dragons lived inside the child.

And with that knowledge came a terrible prophecy.

One day, the last dragon prince would return to reclaim his power. And when he did, Lena would die, her human body unable to survive without the strength that now sustained her.

Terrified, King Harold and Queen Victoria made a heartbreaking decision.

To protect her from both the prophecy and her true identity, they hid Lena among the common folk, disguised as a boy and raised by a humble farmer. In her place, they brought a beautiful orphan girl named Adara into the palace.

Adara grew up adored and admired. She believed herself to be the true princess. She was pampered, praised, and given everything she wanted. But behind her beauty lay vanity, arrogance, and a heart untouched by humility.

Meanwhile, the real princess Luna grew up in the dust and fields, unaware of her bloodline, her power, or the death waiting for her.

But fate cannot be outrun.

The dragon prince lives. And the time is near.
