Chapter 63 - Chaos Engine

Location A: Administrative Node — Server 918-Δα

Location B: Ruins of Jungangno District, Seoul

Time: 05:20 AM KST

"A story is only stable when its pieces know their place."

– Administrator 11-Θ

[Location A: Constellation Domain — SYSTEM ERROR AUDIT LOGS]

"Again," muttered a Dokkebi with blood-orange fur, reviewing the feed loop.

On screen: the crater, the falling ash, and the black-suited human walking away from the unnameable Rift.

⚠ [WARNING: Entity 'Agent 47' lacks Entry Protocol compliance.]

⚠ [Class: Undefined. Modifier: Absent. Sponsor: None.]

⚠ [Constellation Link: Incompatible.]

Dozens of Dokkebis hovered around holographic terminals like panicked analysts. Streams of code zipped across screens as scenario logic tried and failed to categorize what had happened.

💬 "He is not bound to the narrative strata."

💬 "No sponsorship, no probability debt. How is he even materialized?"

💬 "His stats broke our threshold. Reflexes above 500? A lie."

One Constellation — an ancient being known as The Serpent of the 11th Cataclysm — narrowed its gaze.

🐍 "No. Not a lie. A truth we weren't ready for."

Another, glowing like molten starlight, whispered in reverence:

🌟 "He had no modifier… yet bore the King of Curses?"

🌌 "No, he isn't a constellation… but something far older. A foreign god? A multiversal intruder?"

Suddenly—

A SYSTEM MAIL DROPPED INTO THE ADMIN CHANNEL.

📨 FROM: Administrator: 0X

📎 SUBJECT: "Refrain from interference. He is under my contract."

The room froze.

One Dokkebi dropped their coffee.

"…Who the hell is 0X?" someone muttered.

Nobody knew.

And that was the problem.

[Location B: Seoul – Ruined Safe Zone Border]

Kim Dokja ran.

Yoo Joonghyuk moved ahead, tracing the figure darting across broken rooftops like wind wrapped in shadows.

They had followed him since the collapse of the Rift.

But Agent 47 didn't run — he chose not to engage.

That's what made Joonghyuk nervous.

Every Regressor instinct screamed one thing:

"That thing is not a protagonist. He's the reset button."

From the shadows, they saw him pause.

47 knelt by a monster corpse. High Troll. Skull crushed. Spine broken. Blood pattern surgical.

Kim Dokja whispered, "That's not normal. That kill wasn't even logged by the system."

Joonghyuk narrowed his eyes. "He's hiding something."

"You really think he's just some incarnation?"

"No," Dokja replied. "But he's not a constellation either. I checked. No sponsor. No modifier. Yet he… has powers."

Then — before either could speak — a voice echoed in 47's head.

"They're watching you, Baldy."

Sukuna.

"One of them is dangerous."

"That quiet one. His eyes twitch like a killer's. The other's just trying to keep pace."

47 adjusted his cuff.

Then stood, calmly.

Joonghyuk dashed forward, sword already out.

"Wait—" Dokja shouted.

Too late.

Joonghyuk's blade came from the left — quick, controlled, perfect for testing range.

But 47 stepped inward, into the arc.

CRACK.

A punch straight to the ribs.

Joonghyuk grunted. A second blow to the temple.

He stumbled. Caught himself mid-air. Swung low.

47's leg swept out — canceled the attack entirely.

"You test me," 47 said flatly, Silverballer now pointed at Joonghyuk's brow. "Why?"

Joonghyuk, breathing hard, didn't answer.

Kim Dokja approached cautiously, hands raised.

"We don't know who you are," he said.

47 didn't flinch.

"Correct."

"What's your goal?"

"Not your concern."

Sukuna's laughter echoed again. "Damn, you're cold. I like it."

Joonghyuk straightened, hand still on his blade. "If you get in the way of my regression, I'll kill you."

47's eyes met his.

"I'd like to see you try."

[Constellation Feed – Active Comments]

💬 "WHO IS THIS GUY? HE DEFEATED JOONGHYUK'S OPENING STRIKE!"

💬 "SOMEONE GIVE HIM A MODIFIER ALREADY!"

💬 "WAIT… IS HE FREE? HE'S FREE! A FREE ENTITY!"

💬 "THE KING OF COLD EXECUTIONS?"

💬 "I VOTE FOR THE TITLE: BULLET GOD."

Suddenly—
