As Lucien slowly calmed down with the fishing rod in his hand, time slowly began to move forward at its own pace.
One minute, two minutes, five minutes…
Ten minutes, already ten minutes passed, and still nothing. Even the voice from Lilith seemed to have disappeared.
Fortunately, Lucien didn't panic and still sat silently on the shore just like a fisherman waiting for a fish to take a bite.
"Splash!"
Just as the time was almost over and the inspection bell was just about to ring, Lucien felt movement from the fishing line.
'Finally, did I catch her?'
Lucien snapped open his eyes with excitement and immediately stood up, pulling the fishing rod.
"Splash!"
As he continued to pull and loosen the fishing line, the splash over the calm surface of the water became more and more pronounced.
From how large the splash was, Lucien was sure the fish he got was much larger than the tiny one the short old man got.
"Swoosh!"
