"No!" Ryn screamed as he looked desperately into the faces of everyone around him, hoping that at least one of them would support him, but instead, all he saw were suspicious stares as they muttered quietly amongst themselves.
He gripped his hair tightly and squeezed his eyes shut as he tried to remember if he had truly struck his father.
Maybe he did and somehow forgot, but deep inside, Ryn knew what he was capable of doing and what he was not. He could not possess the terrifying power to make someone become a living, dead person.
"I…" he tried to speak up, but his words stuttered and caught in his throat. He opened his eyes again only to see fingers pointed directly at him.
Ever since he came to Tianlong, he had grown accustomed to those same fingers. He had hoped no one would ever raise them against him again and that all the students had finally started getting along, but he was wrong.
