Sylas
The words had come out of Sylas's mouth because he decided to be bold. Just like Ryn had always wanted him, he had been wanting him too.
Hearing that he was the first alpha Ryn truly desired sent a rush of emotions through his body, and he felt like he had achieved a huge accomplishment.
"You are shaking," he muttered after making the bold statement.
Sylas had expected the reaction, but Ryn was actually shaking, as if Sylas were about to devour him in that moment.
"Calm down," he muttered, letting go of him. He stepped down toward the spring and lay inside. He released his pheromones into the water and turned to face Ryn, who stood frozen in place.
"The water is warm, and I just released a soothing pheromone that will help with your heat," he informed him.
Sylas got no response. A few seconds passed, but Ryn still hadn't moved or attempted to speak.
This made Sylas conflicted about what Ryn had said earlier.
