"Impossible, there's no way one could be that big!" Misty retorted.
"Yeah, it's too gigantic. Even Big Brother's thousand-year-old Gengar isn't that big, and this giant Gengar has strange markings on its body!"
After speaking, Ash didn't forget to take out his Pokédex to analyze it. After confirming that the ultra-ancient Gengar really was a Pokémon, he suddenly realized something.
Ash turned to look at Misty and Brock, finding that they had also noticed the same thing.
"Could it be the same as the ultra-ancient Dragonite from Bill's lighthouse?!"
Ash's trio simultaneously exclaimed in surprise.
The ultra-ancient Gengar ahead suddenly raised both hands, releasing an eerie dark aura that blackened the sky above, plunging it into darkness. Then the dark aura spread in all directions, gradually devouring the sky.
"Black darkness that darkened the sky. So that's what it meant..." Hokuto murmured.
Pallet Town - Professor Oak's Research Lab
"Finally appeared, the ultra-ancient Gengar..." Red murmured, with all of Red's Pokémon gathered around him. Their eyes all revealed absolute fighting spirit toward the ultra-ancient Gengar, without any trace of fear.
"Red, are you really going alone? Should I contact Gary and Leaf?" Professor Oak approached and asked.
"No need, Professor Oak. Gary and Leaf are still busy training for the upcoming Indigo League. I can handle this small matter by myself."
With that, Red ignored Professor Oak's attempts to stop him and used Teleport together with Alakazam, transporting all his companions to appear before the ultra-ancient Gengar.
The ultra-ancient Gengar took heavy steps, advancing toward Pallet Town's direction, wanting to devour more Pokémon to satisfy its desires.
"Sorry, big guy, but Pallet Town isn't a place where you can run wild!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Red and his many Pokémon simultaneously appeared before the ultra-ancient Gengar. Before the ultra-ancient Gengar could react, the many Pokémon launched their attack, directly hitting the ultra-ancient Gengar's legs and causing it to freeze in pain for a moment.
To prevent being absorbed into the ultra-ancient Gengar's body, Red instructed his many Pokémon to use long-range moves as much as possible, avoiding close combat that could lead to being devoured. This troubled several Pokémon who preferred close combat.
"Big Brother!"
Ash, who had originally wanted to send out Pokémon to stop it, felt much more at ease after seeing Red's appearance. After all, in Ash's view, as long as Red appeared, there basically wouldn't be any accidents.
Misty and Brock also felt inexplicably reassured like Ash, while only Hokuto nearby focused her gaze on Red's face, as if remembering something.

Originally, the ultra-ancient Gengar had wanted to use its devouring power to neutralize the flames, but after sensing the tremendous power of the flames, it immediately changed tactics, using Confuse Ray to collide with the fire pillar, producing an explosion that neutralized both moves.
"The essence of natural laws really does fascinate me..." the thousand-year-old Gengar said enviously, its eyes spinning eerily several times, seemingly having thought of a method, though it wasn't convenient to explain at the moment.
Due to the attacks from many Pokémon, the ultra-ancient Gengar also gave up its plan to head to Professor Oak's research lab, turning to attack the many Pokémon. A giant Shadow Ball instantly formed in the ultra-ancient Gengar's hands, firing toward the many Pokémon within moments.
'Don't get too arrogant!' Charizard roared.
A purple-gold dragon aura covered Charizard's body. The Charizard emanating terrifying killing intent transformed into an energy dragon, flapping its massive wings to confront the incoming Shadow Ball.
Pidgeot and Zapdos exchanged glances, then simultaneously covered their bodies with blue flames, using Brave Bird together with Charizard to resist the giant Shadow Ball's power.
Seeing the Shadow Ball's power gradually being weakened, Beedrill quickly spun its body like a steel drill and charged toward the Shadow Ball, using Drill Run to pierce through it.
"BANG!"
Within moments, the giant Shadow Ball was completely destroyed. Red's side showed no signs of injury, still maintaining their excited, battle-ready state.
Just as the many Pokémon were preparing for their next attack, Alakazam behind them seemed to sense something, turning to look at the RV emitting eerie golden light.
Then, the Golden Eye with the golden spoon inserted floated out from inside the RV. Under the shocked gazes of Ash's trio and Hokuto, the Golden Eye instantly disappeared, gradually extending black shadows from within.
The shadows gradually evolved into the shape of an Alakazam, transforming into an ultra-ancient Alakazam.
'Indeed... this guy has the power I desire!'
Alakazam's burning gaze locked onto the ultra-ancient Alakazam. This wasn't just fighting spirit toward the ultra-ancient Alakazam, but an even deeper, bone-deep desire.
'I... want the sealed power within it!'
"Another ultra-ancient Pokémon has appeared!"
Ash's trio simultaneously exclaimed in shock. The development of events increasingly exceeded their expectations, making it impossible for them to maintain calm attitudes.
"Are all ultra-ancient Pokémon this oversized?" Ash complained.
The ultra-ancient Alakazam also bore the same eerie markings. Seemingly in an antagonistic relationship, the ultra-ancient Alakazam immediately attacked the ultra-ancient Gengar upon appearing, waving its two spoons to use Psychic on the ultra-ancient Gengar.
Dark, materialized psychic waves struck toward the ultra-ancient Gengar's direction, but were dodged by the ultra-ancient Gengar sidestepping. However, the area hit by the Psychic attack eerily formed a large mass of coral shell-like attachments.
"What is that?" Misty asked in surprise.
"It seems Alakazam isn't on our side," Brock judged.
'Sealed power...'
'Devouring power...'
Alakazam and the thousand-year-old Gengar simultaneously turned to look at each other, sensing the desire in each other's eyes.
"Kid, it seems you're not completely single-minded after all," the thousand-year-old Gengar teased.
'I desire that bone-deep power of desire to defend the glory of the Demon Lord!' Alakazam said solemnly, ignoring the thousand-year-old Gengar's bewildered look.
As the saying goes, "Let the tigers fight while you watch from the mountain." Also, to prevent group attacks from harming the people absorbed into the ultra-ancient Gengar's body, Red temporarily instructed his companions not to attack rashly, letting the two ultra-ancient Pokémon battle for a while to exhaust each other's stamina.
Seeing that Psychic had no effect, the ultra-ancient Alakazam was about to change tactics when the ultra-ancient Gengar approached, extending its giant tongue to lick the ultra-ancient Alakazam's face, using the Lick attack.
Disgusted, the ultra-ancient Alakazam immediately used Teleport, instantly transferring behind the ultra-ancient Gengar, crossing its spoons to use Psybeam.
The hit ultra-ancient Gengar wasn't to be outdone, immediately retaliating with Confuse Ray.
Within moments, the two ultra-ancient Pokémon's moves collided, devouring each other's power and forming an eerie dimensional rift in the sky above.
