Both Lin and Royal sighed at Aran's words and began carefully studying the map to figure out what it showed and whether there was anything interesting on it that could catch their attention.
Due to having lain underwater for so long, the map had naturally faded. Some sections could still be made out and compared with their current location, but due to the map's poor condition — it was an extremely difficult task.
So, Lin, Royal, and Aran sat on the grass around the map, discussing what each part might be or mean.
"As I understand it, this is the river at the top," Royal pointed to the left part of the map, where a thin blue line was drawn.
"And it flows right into the small lake we're sitting next to," Aran smiled and pointed at a small blue dot.
