(Arceus POV)
What just happened? My vision blacked out for a split second.
Did this creature do something to me?
> Nope, I only ended the last chapter. You might feel a bit disoriented.
What the—?! What was that voice? I think I'm going insane.
> "You're not going insane. I'm merely projecting my thoughts into your mind."
"So you're like... some kind of god?"
He chuckled.
> "Of course not! I'm more of a spirit."
"A spirit?"
> "Yes! I am Discord, the Spirit of Chaos! And you, my pointy fellow, are the Spirit of Order!"
To say I was shocked would be an understatement.
"Wait, slow down... I'm a spirit too?"
> "Of course! I sensed it the moment you manifested on Equis."
"Wait—Equis? Is that the name of this planet?"
> "Yup! And the best part? No sentient life has formed yet. That means we can have as much fun as we want!"
He then exploded into confetti, laughing maniacally.
I stared at him, a bit confused.
"So... what do we do now? I'm pretty sure we shouldn't be messing around without a plan."
He reformed back into his regular form.
> "Oh, don't be such a buzzkill. Yes, we have a purpose—and that's to make sure this planet has sustainable life."
"So we're basically in charge of this entire planet?"
> "Ding ding ding! You hit the mark!"
I chuckled at his antics and walked closer, wrapping him in a hug.
"So I guess this makes us... brothers?"
> "I guess? But it's really weird to hug someone with this body."
"You'll get used to it. Anyway, could you let go? One of your spikes is stabbing me in the neck."
I immediately let go, and we stepped out of the cave.
"Wow. You really turned this place to ash."
> "I was trying to make a small fire, but that backfired... immensely."
He chuckled and snapped his claw. The burned forest transformed into a chaotic mishmash of colors and shapes.
> "Anyway, I think you should get started on your own home, baby brother."
"I'm not a baby, Discord. Besides, where would I even go?"
He raised his paw and pointed toward a distant mountain.
> "See that mountain over there? Perfect place for you. You'll be able to practice without turning everything to ash."
I looked at the mountain and nodded at him.
"Thank you, Discord. I'll be sure to visit."
> "Anytime, baby brother!"
I rolled my eyes at the nickname and started walking toward the mountain with haste.
---
I walked for about three hours until I finally reached the base of the mountain. I looked up—it was huge. If I tried to climb it by hoof, it would take weeks.
Then it hit me: I had the power to do basically anything.
I imagined myself at the summit, and in an instant, I was there.
I landed on my hooves and looked around. It was windy up here, but surrounded by lush vegetation. A beautiful, untamed view.
Using my powers, I created a grand temple—a home I could call my own. I walked inside and began decorating it: a small fountain, a soft bed, and a miniature sun floating in the center of the room, radiating light and warmth.
Satisfied, I walked toward the newly made bed and began to doze off.
Tomorrow was a new day, and I couldn't wait to see what it had in store for me.
