Just as Tang San was about to return to the academy, he suddenly felt a presence behind him. Instantly, he activated his Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track and darted to the side to create distance.
"Who?"
"Kid, your reaction is fast."
Hearing the familiar voice, Tang San relaxed slightly but still remained wary of Dugu Bo.
"Senior, you came." Tang San asked politely, though his vigilance did not fade.
"Yes. I have dealt with my affairs. Now, I will head to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan to retrieve my herbs."
Originally, Dugu Bo had intended to wait until he found a solution for his granddaughter's poison before going after the herbs. But Tang San, who held the solution, refused to reveal it unless Dugu Bo retrieved the herbs for him.
At first, Dugu Bo doubted him. However, after Tang San analyzed his condition and even provided a treatment that slightly relieved his pain, Dugu Bo was convinced that this boy either truly had the ability to cure the poison in their bodies or at least suppress it.
At one point, he even wanted to torture Tang San, but the thought of Tang Hao being his father stopped him. Helpless, he had no choice but to agree to Tang San's deal.
"Senior, can you defeat everyone in the clan?" Tang San asked cautiously, wanting to make sure the plan would succeed.
"No. Yu Yuanzhen is a Super Douluo. He is stronger than me. I can fight him, but defeating him is impossible," Dugu Bo admitted without hesitation. "If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have waited this long. I would've buried the entire clan in the ground already."
His plan was simple: go to the clan directly, demand his herbs, and if they refused, fight them on the spot using his poison. Yu Yuanzhen would be forced to compromise for the sake of his clan members' lives.
He explained this to Tang San.
"Senior, if you go alone, you will be outnumbered. As a clan, they can easily support each other," Tang San warned seriously.
"It's impossible. Yu Yuanzhen is proud and arrogant. He will definitely fight me one-on-one," Dugu Bo replied with confidence.
"Senior, but if the clan members are in danger, others might intervene," Tang San pressed. He was even more eager than Dugu Bo to see this plan succeed, so he refused to overlook any flaws.
"Oh, Then what should I do?" Dugu Bo paused, realizing Tang San's concern was valid. He turned to him for advice.
Tang San thought carefully before answering.
"Senior, I will create a poison and put it in a special container which spreads through the air when it is thrown. It's extremely lethal. Without proper treatment, those affected will die within a week. With this, you can throw it while fighting in there clan, poison their clan members and use it to threaten Yu Yuanzhen into handing over the herbs."
Dugu Bo's eyes narrowed in surprise. He never expected Tang San to be this ruthless. But he was no saint himself. His only concern was finding a cure for his granddaughter's poison, so he agreed without hesitation.
"Fine. When will the poison be ready?"
"Senior, by tomorrow it will be complete," Tang San said after some thought.
"Good. I will return tomorrow to collect it." With that, Dugu Bo turned and left.
Tang San stood still, silently listing the herbs he needed for the poison. But after confirming the ingredients list, he realized he had no money to purchase them.
"Who should I ask for money?" he muttered to himself. As he thought, Dai Mubai came to mind.
"Being a prince, he shouldn't be short of money right."
With that, Tang San walked toward Dai Mubai.
Unbeknownst to him, a while ago, Wu Lan had sensed a presence while roaming the academy. Curious, he followed and discovered Tang San meeting with Dugu Bo. He hid in the shadows, listening to their conversation.
"Interesting… let me see how deep you will fall."
Tang San unaware of himself, slipping back into his old habits from his previous life as an assassin, showing no hesitation or emotion when it came to taking lives.
When Tang San walked away, Wu Lan quietly followed him.
Before long, Tang San found Dai Mubai, whose face was filled with shame. Without any concern for his situation, Tang San immediately demanded,
"Mubai, give me the gold you have."
Hearing the voice, Dai Mubai looked up and saw Tang San standing before him. At the mention of money, his temper flared. But looking at Tang San, who was stronger than him, and considering Yu Xiaogang's position as Tang San's teacher, whose help he still needed, Considering his situation Mubai swallowed his anger. Helplessness washed over him.
"I don't have money to give you."
Tang San's face darkened with anger.
"How can a prince not have money? You clearly don't want to give me any."
Mubai panicked and quickly explained, his voice anxious.
"Third Brother, it's not that I don't want to give you money. But Master came before you and took everything I had. I don't even have a single coin left."
Hearing this, Tang San had no choice but to back down, though his anger at Dai Mubai remained.
"Useless."
Hearing Tang San scolding but could not do anything, Mubai face full of frustration,
while Wu Lan hiding in shadows was laughing hard.
After scolding Mubai, Tang San began thinking of other targets.
Soon, Ning Rongrong came to mind. As the wealthiest girl and already dependent on him, she would be the easiest to extract money from.
Without delay, he headed to find her.
Before long, he came across Rongrong strolling around the academy.
"Rongrong," he called.
"Third Brother!" Upon hearing Tang San's voice, she called back sweetly and quickly approached him.
"Rongrong, can you lend me some money? I need it urgently. I'll return it later."
"Third Brother, whatever you want, I'll give. You don't need to return it. Will a hundred thousand gold be enough?" Rongrong smiled sweetly, speaking like an obedient follower.
Tang San's lips curled into a satisfied smile. Seeing how firmly she was under his control, he shamelessly accepted the money without hesitation.
"Good."
After saying that, he left for the capital. In his heart, Tang San had already decided, he would never return the money. To him, Rongrong's clan already belonged to him.
Wu Lan, who had been watching all along, was puzzled by Rongrong's obedient behavior. Based on what he knew of her character, it was impossible for her to act this way genuinely.
"What is she planning?"
