Chapter 174 - The Plan Failed Before It Began

The air on Kalpa was serene and peaceful like always. Not a spec of war got to Kalpa, and this was of course because of the Vosar family. The major races indeed sent troops to Kalpa, but it the battle was so one sided it wasn't worth mentioning. The Vosars are all transmigrators with cheats, so it was only right that they could hold down the fort.

After his short trip to the Celestial World, Akasha had returned. The land stretched endlessly before him, a vast world, that had only grown more beautiful since the time Kal had awoken. The battlefield was quiet now, but the war had not ended for Akasha. There were still loose ends to tie, and one particular thread tugged at his attention.

Krax—the mighty Titan. A being of immense talent, born from an ancient lineage of untold strength, and one who had nurtured dark ambitions beneath the surface. Akasha had been aware of Krax's intentions for some time. The Titan had been secretly cultivating a rebellion, consolidating his forces in the shadows, and along with the Titan God System, a tool that enhanced his cultivation and made his progress almost unnaturally smooth he planned to get his revenge.

As Akasha strode through the peaceful landscape of Kalpa, he felt the familiar presence of his lovers—Raven, Elara, Lyria, and Liora. They were awaiting him, as promised. The end of the war with the Devils had brought them back to his side, and they had been waiting for Akasha to fulfill the promises he had made to them. They had earned it. He would not keep them waiting any longer.

But for now, the matters of rebellion and betrayal were more pressing. He would deal with Krax.

Akasha approached the vast, stone-strewn plains where Krax awaited, the Titan was standing tall, at 8 foot even. His presence radiated strength—he had been enhancing himself using the Titan God System for some time now. His eyes, cold and calculating, met Akasha's as the two stood at an impasse.

Krax, with his immense frame, stood unwavering. To be truthful he didn't expect Akasha to come visit him, so when heard the news it was a shocker. Knowing how things have been progressing, he knew full well that Akasha was now the head of it all. Even though he knew this he didn't know how Akasha accomplished this. Him with a system couldn't even begin to understand the depths of Akasha's power. He had already tried numerous times to scan him with the system, but it always failed.

So now that he was faced with the one person, he wanted to avoid most he was a bit worried. But he would keep his cool, though. He always did.

"You came," Krax said, his voice like a deep, rumbling echo. "What do you want with me, Akasha?" Krax asked directly. He wanted to spend the least amount of time possible with this guy.

Akasha stood with an air of calm authority, his expression neutral, his eyes piercing through the Titan like a blade. He didn't waste time with pleasantries or empty threats.

"I'm not here for anything in particular, Krax" Akasha replied, his voice smooth and direct. "I'm here to give you an ultimatum. Stop your plans, or I will erase you and everything connected to you."

Krax's brows furrowed slightly, his expression not shifting too much. The Titan God System had made him stronger, more confident, but Akasha's presence was a different kind of pressure. "An ultimatum? and what plans are you referring to?"

Akasha's eyes narrowed as the infinity symbols in them glowed. There was no hint of hesitation in his voice. "Krax, I know.... everything. Your plans, the forbidden war.... the system.... I know about it all. Yet here I am, I'm giving you is a choice. Abandon it, and live. If you insist on following through with your schemes, I'll wipe out everything you've ever built. Your family. Your very existence."

For the first time, Krax's stoic expression flickered. 'System! What's going on here?' He called out internally. However, to his shock his system never responded, even after minutes.

"It won't work." Akasha's voice cut through like a sharp blade. Krax slowly turned his eyes back to Akasha before he heard the voice again. "You know, I'm a bit special and removing the connection to such a weak system is not hard."

Akasha words were a mix of truth and lies. He couldn't really remove the connection to his system, because it was connected to a being much stronger than him. However, he could do it for a short moment, long enough to finish this conversation.

Krax was now panicked but he still outwardly kept his composure.

"You think you can just erase me and everyone I care about? You think I'll let you do that without consequences?" Krax spoke as he thought of his own forces and even his connection to the other Titans.

Akasha shook his head as he spoke. "The consequences you speak of are irrelevant. You have no consequences to impose anymore. It's a matter of whether you want to live or not."

HUMMM!!

The Titan's fists clenched, the crackling energy of his Daos began resonating around him. Even though he knew Akasha was stronger, he still found it hard to accept just giving up.

"I've sacrificed too much to let it all fall apart now. You come to me with your empty threats. You think you're untouchable, Akasha? You can't just end me. You can't just wipe me away!"

Akasha's expression remained cold, but there was something more—something almost... disinterested. "You're not untouchable either, Krax. I can make you nothing with a thought. Your strength, your system—none of it matters if you're erased."

CRACK!!

The air trembled with the weight of Akasha's words. There was a pause, a strange stillness as the two powers faced each other, neither willing to give an inch.

Krax took a deep breath, his pride still burning in his chest, but Akasha's words echoed in his mind. He was strong—stronger than most. But Akasha wasn't just any cultivator. He could feel it. The reality itself seemed to bend and warp around him. This was a force that went beyond anything Krax had ever encountered.

"You... you're a fool if you think I'll just give up everything I've worked for," Krax growled, but there was a hint of uncertainty in his voice now. "You don't know what I've sacrificed. You don't understand—"

"I understand perfectly," Akasha interrupted, his voice sharp, almost clinical. "You think if you grow your strength fast enough, you will be able to get revenge for something you didn't even experience. You think the Titan God System will protect you. But it won't. It never will. If you really want to live, then stop your bullshit. Abandon your foolish pride, and I'll spare you."

There was a brief silence as Krax's thoughts raced. His heart pounded in his chest, but deep down, he knew Akasha wasn't bluffing.

Krax took a step back, the weight of Akasha's words bearing down on him. His strength could not defy the laws of reality. He wasn't fighting just against a cultivator—he was fighting against the fabric of existence itself, and Akasha was something beyond that. Something... impossible.

Finally, Krax let out a breath, his fists loosening. His power surged for a moment, but he forced it down. "You are serious. You really will erase me."

Akasha nodded, the answer plain. "No shit, sherlock. Don't worry you will gain something much better than that bullshit system of yours."

For a long moment, Krax stood in silence. His mind raced, his pride clashing with his will to survive. But as he stood there, he understood the undeniable truth, he had no choice. Not anymore. Akasha had shown him that.

Krax's shoulders slumped, the fight leaving him. "Fine," he said, his voice harsh but resigned. "I'll end it."

Akasha gave a small nod, satisfied. "Good. Now, go and do your usual things. In a few months we will have a meeting. At that time, I'll show what a real cheat looks like."

Without another word, Akasha turned and began to walk away, the world around them slowly returning to the calm that had once prevailed.

Krax watched him go, still processing the weight of the ultimatum. But his plan had crumbled before his very eyes. His plans, his ambitions—everything had fallen apart. And as much as it stung his pride, Krax knew Akasha was right. He was no match for a force like him.

The Titan's gaze lingered on the distant horizon, his future uncertain, but for now, he had been spared.

Then suddenly.

[Ding!]

[New Task - Reach Transcendent Rank. Reward - ????]

Seeing this Krax shook his head and turned back to the horizon.

And Akasha? Akasha had moved on—his focus now on the far greater matters that lay ahead and more importantly... his women!
