Chapter 172 - Another Time Skip

[A/N: Incoming Time skip, however those characters who had yet to have screentime will have their moments, soon enough.]

The war that had engulfed the galaxy for five long years was not one of mere survival—it was one of complete, unrelenting conquest. Kalpa, a force of cosmic ambition, sought to bring all the major races and factions under their banner, purging the devils from every corner of this Galaxy. With their might that grew with ever battlefield they conquered Kalpa's forces swept across the stars like an unstoppable tide, leaving shattered empires in their wake.

The once-divided races, each with their own pride and purpose, had been forced to bend the knee to Kalpa's will, each faction succumbing to their might. The Devils, who had once sown chaos throughout the Galaxy, were eradicated in a brutal purge, leaving nothing but whispers of their invasion. Now, five years after the war's end, the galaxy had been irrevocably changed, and peace—had settled over the stars. But the scars of war were still fresh, and the ruins bore the evidence.

However, as things died down, there were two forces who were left with all their connections cut off. These were the Titans and the Celestials. Akasha specifically mentioned to leave those two forces alone and he would deal with them personally, so that's what they did.

Kalpa, a world whose very name became synonymous with conquest, had reshaped the galaxy in the image of Akasha's wishes. His forces, known as The Twilight, had not only crushed the Devils but also brought the various factions to heel through a series of strategic battles, deceit, and sheer overwhelming power. The alliances that once defined the balance of power across the galaxies—alliances between dragons, elves, demons, humans, and the other races—had been shattered. Kalpa had usurped their power, fractured their unity, and enforced a new order. Their armies were everywhere—their control now absolute.

During these 5 years new titles and names began to spread all over the Galaxy as many people from Kalpa made their presence known. A few in particular were Akasha's closest people, it was only right for them to break past their limits through fire.

Raven, the Crimson Sovereign, had risen to prominence during this time. She had been like a bloody symbol of terror earning her title through the blood of her fallen enemies. Raven had proven herself across every battlefield she set foot on. The woman who had once only wanted to be free and feel the thrill of battle had changed. Where once she was driven by personal ambition, she had now become a beautiful monster—a woman who had seen the depths of destruction and learned to wield her power with precision.

Elara, the VoidBorn Empress, had played a crucial role in Kalpa's conquest. Her dragon form had become a deadly symbol of destruction. Elara's mastery of nothingness itself allowed her to break through enemy lines and strike at the heart of those who dared resist Kalpa's conquest.

Liora, the Weaver of Reality, had served as a powerful manipulator of perception, a being whose illusions could reshape the fabric of the battlefield. During the conquest, she had made entire fleets appear in places where they were not, turned whispers into screams, and even orchestrated false retreats to lure enemies into deadly traps. Her power had turned the tide in countless battles, and her manipulations had been essential in Kalpa's relentless march to victory.

Lyria was someone who probably had the most trouble initially. She had long been a sweet and loving person, someone who was a true embodiment of nature. So going to war was not her thing, but for her to truly become the embodiment of nature she needed to embrace the good and bad. This was the only reason Akasha made her participate, and his decision was right. Over this time, she too made a name for herself and gained a title. The Verdant Tempest had become a symbol of the harsh duality that war created. No longer just a nurturer of life, she had become a fierce force of nature, capable of unleashing storms that could level entire armies.

Though Lyria had once been known for her sweet demeanor and connection to the living world, the war had hardened her. She had fought tooth and nail to protect her people, but the devastation of war enlightened her. Nature, it seemed, could be as cruel as it was beautiful.

Jovian, the Cosmic Arbiter, had watched as Kalpa's forces tore through the galaxy, bringing entire factions to ruin. Though he was an oracle, a guide for fate, his place in Kalpa's army had not been one of mere observation. Jovian had wielded the Blade of Fate, striking down enemies who defied the inevitable and restoring balance where chaos reigned. His Heaven's Eye allowed him to see the underlying threads of destiny, and he had known—perhaps before anyone else—that this war was won before it began.

One must not forget this war had not been a singular conflict—it had been a galaxy-wide campaign, where each race, faction, and civilization had to submit and the Devil had to be eradicated. While the force of Kalpa swept through the Galaxy, Akasha, the man who started the whole conquest was also doing his part.

Him along with his trusted subordinates, Celeste and Amy— was on a mission to purify the four galaxies corrupted by the influence of the Devils. This proved to be easier than he initially thought, this was because the Devils didn't even have any Saint Lords present in these Galaxies. There were only Saints and Below, however this was also because Akasha's time frame was completely messed up.

How could the Devils know that only three people would be bold enough to invade their corrupted Galaxies and not only clear them out but completely take them away. That's right, Akasha had Kal assimilate all four of the Galaxies into their Universe. Now he only needed to find a way to cleanse them.

During this time Celeste, the Shadow Human, had moved through the darkness to root out the lingering traces of the devils, her mastery over shadows allowing her to slip undetected into enemy strongholds. Amy, the elven archer, was a force of precision, her arrows capable of slaying devils with ease. Together, they ventured from galaxy to galaxy, purging the last vestiges of the devils' reign and ensuring that no trace of their corruption remained.

The galaxy had been reshaped, redefined by the passage of war. Kalpa had succeeded where others had failed, bringing unity through conquest. Five years had passed since the war's end, and the galaxy was left in a new state of balance. With the entire Galaxy now bonded under his Dao, Akasha had accomplished exactly what he set out to do.

Now he stood floating in the vast expanse of space as he watched the distant stars. Next to him were Amy and Celeste as they all stood in silence. Then after a moment Akasha spoke.

"Alright, I guess it's time to handle the Titan situation and visit that, Celestial Emperor." As he said this he took a step and the trio disappeared.
