Chapter 126 - Just a Pawn?

The room was engulfed in an awkward silence, but for reasons you might not expect. Currently this clone of Akasha wore a similar outfit to the main body. He had grey baggy sweatpants instead of black and his shirt was long sleeve and black. The woman didn't cover her assets at all; she was too focused on the man in front of her.

He was beyond handsome, but more than he was a complete mystery. For someone of her prestige and age it should be impossible to hide anything from her. Yet somehow, she couldn't even determine the race of this man. She could only see his rank which was Early Mythical.

Akasha on the other hand was not stunned by her beauty. He was actually shocked at how chill she was being and more importantly the show on her tv. On the flat screen TV hanging from the wall played an anime he knew all too well. Seeing the yellowed haired ninja and the clones he almost shed a tear.

The lady was watching Naruto!

Breaking the silence the woman spoke casually.

"And you are?" She paused her tv which caused Akasha to click his tongue. He turned his attention back to the woman and spoke.

"I am Akasha, and you are?" As he said this he walked towards the couch and sat down next to the half-naked beauty. He then began to casually eat his pineapples again. Not even sparing the beauty too many glances.

His nonchalant attitude caused the woman to raise her eyebrows. It had been quite a while since any male has been able to resist her beauty. Even the other transmigrators have tried their shots before. Though they all failed miserably and that's because this woman was the oldest of them all.

She smiled lightly before saying

"I am the oldest Vosar, though if I tell you my name you might not be able to understand it. Beings of certain lev-"

"Bullshit." Akasha cut her off before she could continue with her nonsense. Seriously if he could hear the names of Primordials then what would a mere Transmigrator name do? He then turned his head and appraised her.

[Selene Vosar]

Age - 1 Epoch

Rank - Saint Lord

Race - Primordial Human

Aspects - Primordial Grade

Cheat - Cosmic Cube of Authority

-----

Hearing him cut her off Selene eyebrows raised again. She didn't have the usual pride of the strongest right now. All she had in her eyes was curiosity. But before she could even speak again Akasha voice sounded.

"Selene Vosar.... nice to meet you."

Selene face morphed into a bigger smile hearing that.

"Interesting.... Akasha, is it? Tell me, why did you randomly come here?" As she said this she leaned back on the couch and folded her arms under her bra. This didn't escape Akasha's eye one bit. But he still spoke normally.

"Well, to be honest I came to have a chat with the Vosar family. However, I unexpectedly ran into the oldest of you all. So maybe this is my divine luck?" He spoke.

Selene didn't respond instantly she simply watched the man eat his fruit. She noticed his attire and even the fruit screamed Earth, but she didn't speak on it. After a moment she simply said

"Then let's have a chat. We both will ask and answer each other's questions truthfully." As she said this her tone of voice shifted a bit. Then out of thin air a golden sheet of paper materialized. At the top of the paper in bold words were 'Authority of Truth'.

Seeing this Akasha eyes shined for a moment before he nodded his head.

"Alright I don't mind. You can go first."

"Hm? Do you know what this is?" Selene asked with a tone of pure curiosity. It should be impossible for someone to know what this paper was unless they've seen it before.

Akasha shook his head while saying

"Nah, but I'm sure it has something to do with not lying. So, let's go I have nothing to hide regardless."

Selene was a bit stunned hearing that. But she nodded and spoke

"What are you? I have never seen your race on Kalpa." This was a no brainer for her first question. Seeing such a race she couldn't even identify was interesting indeed.

"I am Ananian. The one and only kind of my race, but that will soon change." After those words he took another bite of his sliced fruit.

"Ananian, huh? That's indeed interesting...." This was something that truly shocked her. If he was the one and only of his race, then that could only mean one of two things. Either he is the creator of his race, or he is the lone survivor of a forgotten race.

Either one was shocking enough for various reasons.

Akasha put his fruit away and then turned towards the beauty while leaning back. He smiled and the Quasars in his eyes began to move and glimmer. Then he spoke

"So, Selene.... Could you enlighten me on why six transmigrators are guarding this world?" He asked so casually as if he didn't just drop a bombshell. However, he was intrigued to see the small smile never once faltered on her face.

"Heh, I knew you would start with that. Noticing your attire and the food you were eating I knew you were similar to us, but different at the same time. The answer to your question is fairly simple though, this world is our home.

After we died on Earth and transmigrated, we didn't cling to our past one bit. We grew attached to this world so why leave? Each of us equipped with different unique abilities allowed us to grow even in a place like this."

Hearing her Akasha eyebrow lifted for a moment. He knew very well neither one of them could lie under Authority. The moment he seen the words 'Authority' the clone in the Akashic Library instantly absorbed the information. So, her words were nothing, but the truth and this caused him to truly wonder about them.

Selene noticed the change in his facial features, but she still asked her next question.

"I know you're not one of us, a transmigrator. So how do you know about us and Earth?"

"Simple, I am a walking encyclopedia. I can get the knowledge behind anything I want. That's how I know of you, and you could say I lived on Earth for a period of time before."

Those words caused a slight sweat to trickle down Selene's forehead.

"A-anything?" She stuttered as she sat up some. This caused Akasha to laugh while saying.

"Haha, yes anything but that's enough about that. The reason I am here is because I want to know one thing. Do you know the real reason behind your transmigration?"

"Huh? What do you mean 'Real Reason'?" Selene asked Akasha in confusion.

"Of course you don't know." Akasha said as he facepalmed.

"Listen, you seven transmigrators are nothing but pawns in the game of Gods. I don't mean cultivators who have become strong enough and call themself Gods. I mean literal True Gods, beings who have completely broke past cultivation limits.

You seven are considered failed products in the eyes of that True God. For some reason when you guys transmigrated the will of this world rejected the influence of that God. Each time he attempted to transmigrate someone here it would fail."

Hearing this revelation Selene sat all the way up and stared daggers into Akasha. The weight of his words just now was beyond immense. Imagine living 10 million years only to find out you're nothing, but a pawn.

A failed pawn at that.

Selene controlled her emotions and spoke calmly.

"What does this so-called God want with mere Earthlings?"

"Well, he wanted two things. One in which I don't quite understand myself, but the other was of course your cheats. Although 'True Gods' are beings exceeding cultivation those cheats you guys have, is nothing minor at all.

Cosmic cheats are birthed from the very fabrics of reality. The have the ability to completely manipulate the things you shouldn't be able to. The demand for such things amongst Gods is beyond high. They would literally fight for eons for a single one."

Selene nodded her head hearing this. She already knew these cheats were things that shouldn't exist. The power she gained from authority was too overpowered, so she knew how important it was.

"So, what now?"

"Uhhh nothing. I only came here to make sure you weren't under the influence of some wicked God or anything. That would truly ruin my plans, you know?"

*silence*

Selene stared at Akasha in silence hearing this. How could you randomly appear drop some bombshell and then say you will do nothing?

Hell, she even forgot to ask any further questions hearing that news.

"Really? Is there anything we can do?"

"Right now? Hell no, but maybe in the future we can do something. I will be going to find out what he wanted with this world. If you want, you can tag along with me."

Akasha said as he stood up. Selene stood up as well and then a beautiful black dress covered her assets. She followed after him while saying.

"Since you offered, I am sure you have a way to get me into the world, right?"

Akasha nodded and began using his trait.

|The Origin of All|

A few moments later a black necklace appeared in his hand.

"This can restrict your existence level a bit and your cultivation to transcendent."

Selene took the necklace while looking at Akasha weirdly.

"How did you just do that?"
