Back in the present Krax was still standing in the same spot all the demons dispersed from. With a simple thought he retrieved the divine shuttle from his inventory. Then a miniature sized space shuttle appeared in his hand. This shuttle was much different from the warships they arrived on.
This artifact looked to be way more advanced than what Krax was used to seeing. It was made up of unknown materials that seemed similar to some type of metal. The shuttle was red and white and on it was a crest that read 'Titans'.
Seeing this he grinned a flew off into the sky. He was going to meet up with the Elder Demons who left to gather the others who would be leaving with them. He planned to store them all onto the shuttle and release them once they left this world.
He knew it would seem pretty fishy once the battle began, but he could care less. He would be the least suspected in case of anything. I mean who would expect a mere Rebirth cultivator would be in possession of a Divine Grade artifact?
Plus, he didn't even intend to fight with the demons in the first place. He would rejoin with the others eventually and fight alongside the Humans. So, with this in mind he didn't have any worries.
As the Demons who consisted of mostly Golden Core, Ultimate Core and Rebirth cultivators headed towards the battlefield so did the Humans. This battle would be the one that finally ends this war between two races.

After about 8 hours Caelum, Lucas, Ethan, Kael and the other Humans were finally camped not too far away from the battlefield. Although most of the battles took place in the skies the battlefield was still covered and stained in blood. This blood was already dried and had mixed into the landscape after so many years of drying.
There were old corpses scattered all around that were now only bones. The ground had craters so huge it looked as if meteors rained down. The grass and even the trees were nonexistent.
Just a destroyed and bloodied battlefield.
As everyone took all this in from the horizon, they could see the Demons approaching. Seeing this one of the Mythical cultivators spoke.
"IN THIS BATTLE WE WILL BRING THIS ALL TO AN END!!! HOLD NOTHING BACK AND FIGHT UNTIL YOU CAN'T FIGHT ANYMORE!! NOW GO! LET'S KILL SOME DEMONS!!!"
Hearing this every single soldier moved. Some took into the skies while the Golden Core cultivators moved on the ground. The Mythical cultivators stayed back and waited until their opponents showed up. Seeing this Caelum and the others chose to join the fight. They had spent 5 years here in seclusion and now was finally the time for them to test themselves.
Lucas Bloodmoon, the elder brother of Raven, he flew off into the battle and engaged the first Demon he came across. At the Late-Stage of Rebirth rank, Lucas clashed with a male Demon at the same rank. As if thinking the same thing they didn't even speak, but began going blow for blow.
No skills.
No abilities.
Not even a weapon in sight.
It was pure hand-to-hand combat!
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
Every clash resulted in a massive shockwave that sent ripples through the sky. The two pulled back after a few exchanges. Lucas had bruises and cuts in several place, but they were healing at a speed visible to the eye. In mere moments he stood completely healed, meanwhile the Demon on the other hand still hand blood leaking from a few places.
Lucas looked at the Demon with a stern face. He had to smiles or even much to say. Since he was young, he heard tales about Vlad the Vampire King who slayed thousands in battles. With such a figure as your father and being the only son, it was only right if he followed in those footsteps.
He clenched his fist and spoke

COUGH!
The male pride demon began coughing up blood. This was no simple cough though because his blood flowed out endlessly as if he were throwing up all his intestines. Seeing that his condition was going bad the demon moved.
He charged right at Lucas, but the more he moved the more blood flowed from his orifices. He ignored this and casted a skill.

Lucas seeing all of this didn't sit and wait for death either. He moved and created more distance, but as he did, he slit both of his wrist. As he did this his blood began to pour out in a flood. While he was doing this the demon closes the distance and his skill took effect.
As soon as the skill took effect, Lucas movements ceased. His eyes became clouded as if he was stuck in some sort of illusion. In this split second of time the Demon appeared in front of Lucas and pierced into the chest of the vampire.
SHKK!
The Demon removed his hand and in it was a dark red object that was dripping in blood, and it also moved from time to time.
BaDUM!
He pulled out Lucas's heart!
But contrary to what the Demon expected to happen, Lucas fingers twitched. His eyes regained light in the very moment the demon ripped out his heart. From his wrist his blood still flowed like a river. In fact, it never stopped and in the next moment Lucas casted a skill.

HUMMM!!
All the blood flowing from his body immediately retracted and entered back through his wrist. But his returning blood was a bit different now. It contained bit of the Pride Demon traits which was enough for him to mimic the Demons last used skill.
The Demon still standing in the air before Lucas was now frozen stiff. Just like Lucas before it only lasts a split second, but this was enough. Lucas then formed a saber made up of pure blood and swung it directly for the Demon's neck!

In one swift motion he beheaded the Demon. As he watched the Demon crash to the ground below, he moved onto the next.
