Chapter 112 - The Birth of A New Dao

As the skills continued to rain down the space city was being literally obliterated. Akasha didn't know much about this city as he only researched broadly on the topics. He knew that this city housed a Transcendent cultivator who of course had his own force with the city also. Even then this would not be enough to save them or the city.

Currently Akasha's battle prowess is at the Peak of the Mythical Rank. This means each of the infinite number of attacks is at the Peak Mythical Rank of power. Normally it would close to impossible for a Mythical ranked cultivator to kill a Transcendent, but in this case it's a bit different.

With the sheer number of attacks repeatedly bombarding them, while being completely defenseless, how could they survive?

This not to mention majority of them were cultivating or doing a multitude of other things. An attack was something they were least expecting not to mention one of this magnitude. The Angel race was given tokens designed for communication. These artifacts were supposed to be used in times of distress.

But if the Angels couldn't alert them, how could they be prepared?

So, after about 30 minutes of utter destruction nothing was left outside of the world of Estreya. The entire space city and any remnant of the place was wiped out. Akasha watched this entire thing and he was a bit..... unsatisfied.

"I really need stronger skills." He spoke out and hearing his words the others didn't know what say.

After the immense showcase of power none of them could even imagine how much stronger he would be if he were at a higher rank.

"What a damn monster!" Jovian exclaimed after a few moments of silence.

"Right, even after seeing this for a second time it still seems unreal." Skye added as she had her arms crossed.

The others didn't have to say much. To be honest his lovers didn't care much they were just excited to see him be so strong. So, they just shared loving smiles as they looked at him. No words were need especially sense he could literally feel the emotions of the three.

Akasha turned around and approached the group. They then made their way back into the world. While traveling Akasha was chatting with Luna.

"Hey Luna, do you have a solution to my little issue here?" He asked as he was thinking about the inhabitants of Estreya. This would be different from Elun because he had no help to organize things over time. He intended to speed run as many worlds as possible.

[You finally talk to me again, huh?] Luna teased him as she watched his actions.

"Uhhh.... you know I've been a bit busy recently...." Akasha said awkwardly. Now that he thought about it, he had been so busy since the day he took Luna for the first time, that they didn't even have much time afterwards.

[Fufufu~ I'm just joking dear everything is fine. Anyways I do have a solution for your issue. Well, you have the solution actually. If you remember a while back when I explained Daos to you all, I said you can create your own Dao.

The Dao and The Rules of Reality share a relationship of equals in a way. Even though the Dao power is just a form of the rules it still has the power to affect rules. Meaning once you make a new Dao an entire new rule will form all across reality. ] She said to him as she tried to make it brief.

Hearing this a light bulb immediately went off in his head.

"Are you implying that..... I can use my trait to create Daos?!" He exclaimed inwardly. He knew that his trait said he could make anything, but even rules of reality?

That's straight up broken!

[Fufufu~ Exactly although at your strength right now it would at most only be a minor Dao.]

'Haha this is great! Thank you for the help my dear spirit~'

As he said this him and the others made it to the castle again.

"So, what's next Akasha?" Elara asked as she and the others had been wondering this.

"Well, I will figure that out now. So, just give me a moment." Akasha said as he sat down cross-legged.

Seeing this the others nodded and gave him some space.

Akasha then focused on his trait.

|The Origin of All Things|

Creating a Dao is something most cultivators wouldn't even dream of doing. And those who do dream of it or even those who had already done it were all beings far from a mere lower Dimension. As Luna said Daos were much different than Laws.

The Dao is something cultivators use for many ranks to come. The moment you step onto the path of the Dao, you actually step onto a road that only a handful of people has ever reached the end of. Ironically the Dao is only the first step on a long road of conceptual power.

And currently in the Lower Dimension Akasha was about to accomplish yet another thing that would go down in the records.

A mythical ranked cultivator creating a Dao?

Completely unheard of!

Sitting cross-legged Akasha began designing his Dao. He only needed to think of the functions and the trait would do the rest. With this in mind he began to work. He could easily construct something similar to a slave seal, but he didn't want to be some tyrant.

No, he would create something that would bring benefits to all those who will be his subordinate. For all those under him they will get a boost in strength depending on their comprehension levels. The last thing was that he wanted it to be forceful.

Contradictory right?

Well, he knew it was very contradicting from not wanting to be a tyrant, but forcing them into subordination?

Yes, a complete contradiction!

But he didn't care one bit. This was a world of power and if you're too weak then too bad. For now he would use his powers with no care and once things were established then he might be a bit easier going.

With all of this in mind he finished and when he did, a bright rainbow light engulfed him. The light was so bright that the others had to turn away. Akasha was not seeing any of this though because he was currently looking notifications in front of him.

One from his system and the other from the records.

[You have created a minor Dao.]

[Dao of Bonds - This is a Dao that can only be used by you. Any other cultivator can only become your subordinate in order to have access. The user will be able to forcefully create a bond with any being weaker than himself. All those bonded will automatically have access to the Dao of Bonds once they reach the appropriate rank. Subordinates will receive 1% of the creator's strength. (Increases depending on comprehension.]

The system gave a pretty lengthy description of this new Dao. Seeing this he couldn't help, but smile because this is exactly what he wanted.

And this is a bond that cannot be broken because it was now a rule of reality.

After he read through this he turned his attention to the other screen.

{DING!}

{You have achieved something extraordinary once again! To create a Dao and Rule of Reality while being an inhabitant of the Lower Dimension is something never done before. For such a feat you must be rewarded appropriately!}

{.....Calculating Achievements.....}

{DING!!!}

{Your existence value has been greatly enhanced. Value - 1050}

{You have been granted a new title. 'The Anomaly"}

After that the rainbow light faded and Akasha stood up with a bright smile. He took amount to read the details of his new title.

[The Anomaly - The Rules of existence don't affect you. You are someone who cannot measured, someone who cannot be understoood. Not even fate, destiny, or karma can measure you.]

Seeing this Akasha raised an eyebrow and immediately thought of one thing particular.

'Those primordial beings better have my resources ready...' He thought with a sly grin he then looked at the others and said.

"Everything is now ready. I created a minor dao called 'Dao of Bonds' which will basically allow me to create bonds of loyalty with any being weaker than me. This will result in absolute loyalty and in return those bonded will have access to my dao. Once they have embarked on the path the Dao they will receive 1% of my power. It would then increase depending on comprehension."

He gave them a rough explanation of how everything worked to minimize their questions.

Hearing this the others of course were shocked and Skye was perhaps the most shocked. This was because even in her past life she had never come across someone who created a Dao. Those things were only heard about from the higher ups.

After a few moments Lyria spoke

"...Umm can we become bonded with you also? I know we already have bonds, but if we receive 1% of your strength wouldn't that mean our mana would basically limitless as well?" She asked as her voice was soft and calming like always.

When the others heard this their eyes brightnened. If they had limitless mana they would be come something they didn't think was possible for them. Especially Elara, this is because she would finally be able to fight in her true form.

She had never fought in a full dragon form because it was simply too taxing on her mana. One might think that her true form shouldn't drain her mana right?

Well, weirdly the Dragons of Kalpa were not born in transformed states. They all came out of their eggs in humanoid forms. This wasn't because impure bloodlines or anything like that. This had everything to do with Kalpa's sleeping conscious.

As stated before it recreated all the races that participated in the war that caused its destruction. In this war there were of course transformed dragons, but the thing is that most of those in their true states were outside of the world.

This was because of the size of Dragons. There were Dragons bigger than Kalpa itself so they couldn't have their fights in the world. If they did the world would've been destroyed much earlier than it was.

When Akasha heard this, he nodded and spoke.

"Of course, not much will change for you guys anyway. The bond just ensures loyalty; it won't make you a mindless slave or anything."

As he said this, he used his Dao and formed bonds with the 5 of them.

|Dao of Bonds|

Five rainbow threads shot out from Akasha and connected to the hearts of each one of them. Once the connection was complete, they all felt a massive surge of mana filling up their beings. After a few moments it ended, and they stood much stronger than they were mere moments ago.

Akasha smiled seeing them look so astonished. He then teleported and let them be. No words of thanks were needed between them; he hated things like that anyways. Right now, he planned to bond every inhabitant of this planet within a few days.

[A/N: I want to clarify a few things you may be wondering about. You might be wondering how Akasha can be affected by the Akashic Records if he is the son of the creator or something like that. Well, this is because of two things.

The first is that the Akashic Records and his mother 'Akashic' are two different things. The records are an automated system she created to govern and reward those apart of reality. His mother doesn't control it at all; in fact, she is probably sleeping majority of the time.

The second reason is because Akasha is basically the same as every other cultivator. If you disregard how broken he is of course. But all in all, he is the same as the others in the sense of being a part of reality.

If you have further questions about this topic, just let me know!]
