The world of Lex much like Elun was a middle level world. This world was a bit different than Elun though, here Humans and Demons were at war. This world had two huge continents separated by a huge battlefield. Since this was the case the team from Kalpa had a much easier chance at getting along with the Humans here.
At first the Humans were a bit cautious see people like Kael who had horns similar to demons or Lucas who had fangs and blood red eyes. These people were also clueless to the matters of the outside world, so seeing races besides Demons and Humans was a shocker.
Caelum, Lucas, Ethan and Kael all were currently meeting with the heads of the Human race. It had already been a few months since they've been here. Over this time, they didn't do much besides gather information and learn the situation of what's going on.
Apparently, the world of Lex had given birth to two races, Demons and Humans. As every story normally begins, the beginning of the relationship between the two races were great. From birth Humans had innate knowledge about various things that differed from Demons.
Humans were able be more innovative with the use of mana. The training, the artifacts, and even the geniuses were all growing at fast rates. This should've allowed the humans to be superior right?
Well, no.
Demons are a race that have many variants all throughout the multiverse. There are Soul Demons, Pride Demons, Sloth Demons, Wrath Demons, and etc. Each and every one of these Demons are exceptional beyond compare in their fields. And the world of Lex gave birth to Pride Demons.
Pride demons were some of the more dangerous demons purely because of their innate abilities. These demons have the ability to feed off of pride. The more pride they feel the stronger they would become.
After a long-lasting alliance between the two races things turned sour. According to the story told to the team from Kalpa, the demons began to grow too prideful. After many years of trading between the two races the Demons cut all communication between the Humans.
This silence lasted for nearly 100 years. With no demons even stepping a foot out of the Demon Continent. Seeing this the Humans found it weird and began to keep watch over the situation. But during this century of time, it was impossible for Humanity not to make further progress.
With 100 years' worth of innovative work the Humans grew to a point where they no longer cared for the Demons.
They grew too prideful.
And that's when the Demons attacked and initiated the first Human and Demon War.
Caelum standing alongside the others were facing two men and a woman. After thinking over everything he'd learned thus far he spoke.
"Alright, we have already agreed to help you out, but there is also something we need in return."
Hearing this a middle-aged man with blonde hair that stopped above his shoulders spoke.
"And what will that be?"
"An allegiance. This will be very beneficial to you all, we will provide higher graded resources and also help you further progress down the road of cultivation." Caelum spoke with a calm face. His golden eyes steady as he had his arms behind his back.
"Hmm? That sounds too good, doesn't it?" The man asked as he raised an eyebrow.
"Well, it might but honestly this the way the world works. We are from a higher world, usually someone would come and force you all to bend the knee, but we want a bond forged through loyalty. We will provide you with necessary materials and resources and all we want is your loyalty."
Hearing this the man took a moment and glanced at the other two people with him. Seeing that they had no qualms about it, he sighed and spoke.
"Alright consider it a deal."
Those words caused the team from Kalpa to smile and nod their heads. After this they then began to make plans to deal with the demons.

Somewhere withing the Human Continent
Currently Krax Alale was sitting cross-legged in front of a young human male. For the past few weeks, he had been doing things similar to the others while also looking for members. While leaving a tavern he came across this young man who was about 17 years old getting ganged up on.
Krax found the perfect opportunity to complete his task, so he went for it. After helping the young man out, he noticed that he was only at S rank. Not like minded it anyway, with his system he was sure he could make this guy into a fine subordinate.
The young man had short black hair with dark green eyes. Over the past few weeks, him and Krax had spent majority of their time together. Krax even told him about the whole plan about creating a base here.
Right now, the young man whose name is Adam was breaking through into the Golden Core rank. Krax had already given him pointers and instructions. He even gave him high grade mana gathering pills, so he should break through smoothly.
While Adam was cultivating, Krax who was sitting across from him was currently preoccupied with his system notifications.

Ever since he left his father and the rest of his people he had been constantly planning. Now he could truly fight for the first time in a long while. Just thinking of his made his battle aura flare.
"Alright I should reach Late Rebirth first, then we will deal with those Demons."
As he said this, he closed his eyes and began cultivating.
