Chapter 42 - Ravon's Melody

Some songs don't play — they become ghosts."

---

Location: Below Silencia — The Forgotten Vault

Darkness. Silence.

And within that silence — a man sat alone.

Shattered instruments surrounded him — veena, flute, harp… all broken.

Except one.

A black flute. Still whole. Still breathing.

Ravon.

He already knew…

Noen had reached Harmonia.

And the people were beginning to follow him.

> "You're bringing them back to life, Noen…"

"I'm simply giving them permission to die."

In front of him stood a few figures — blank-eyed, lifeless.

Ravon lifted the black flute.

And played.

A melody — not loud, not fast — but deep.

Like someone tearing open an old wound… just to feel it again.

---

Location: Harmonia – Lower Streets

The marketplace was still.

People walked. They breathed.

But they didn't live.

Then…

Something shifted in the air.

A faint vibration. A haunting tune.

But it wasn't melody — it was pain.

People froze.

First confusion. Then… recognition.

A mother cried out:

> "That sound…

I heard it right before my son died!"

Another woman collapsed, holding her head.

> "This melody…

it's making me remember everything I buried…"

---

Echo Circle – Underground

Noen's ears caught the sound.

But it wasn't his.

Sera looked terrified.

> Sera:

"Noen… what is this?"

Noen's voice cracked:

> "He's playing."

"Ravon."

Flashback – Elya's Warning (Melody Witch)

> "If you ever hear Ravon's true tune…

You might forget your own music forever."

---

The City Begins to Fracture

Ravon's melody didn't create explosions.

No thunder. No fire.

But it broke people.

Guards dropped to their knees — not injured, but mentally overwhelmed.

A child screamed with no reason.

And then…

Whispers flooded the streets:

> "This song…

it's making me go insane."

---

Back to Ravon – The Flute Falls Silent

He lowered the flute.

> "Songs don't change the world," Ravon said.

"But break enough of them… and you can create a new silence."

He closed his eyes.

And whispered:

> "The time for music isn't yours anymore, Noen…"

"It's mine."

End of Chapter 12
