Chapter 101 - Spending his wealth

"Your highness, this jeweller sells the most beautiful jwellery. He is so popular in market." He removed his footwear and opened the door of shop for Ira.

Seeing him removing his footwear, Ira was confused. "Why did you removed your footwear?"

He looked at her with his doe eyes and replied innocently "Because if I enter the shop wearing shoes, the shop will get dirty."

Hearing his reason, her eyebrows raised in wonder and she smiled. She walked towards the corner and removed her footwear.

"Alright, then I will remove my footwear too."

Seeing her removing her footwear, Raksheet couldn't stop himself and walked towards her. He removed his footwear as well.

"Me too."

Arjuna smiled widely, seeing his king and dear future Queen following him and opened the door wide.

"Come inside." He said and ran inside, calling the jeweller. "Uncle Dakshat, his majesty and her highness is here!"

The jeweller, Dakshat, flustered after hearing the sudden news and quickly stood up from his chair.

"W-What? Who?" He asked and ran towards the door.

His eyes widened in shock to see Ira and Raksheet entering in his store. He quickly joined his hands tightly and greeted them.

"Welcome your majesty, please come inside and have a seat." He gestured them to come in and sit.

Raksheet held Ira's hand to guide her towards the chair because his wife was busy observing the beauty of the store.

"Please sit your majesty. How can I help you?" Dakshat asked, his hands still joined in respect.

Raksheet made Ira sit on chair and sat down beside her. Arjuna grabbed the chair on other side of Ira and sat down.

"Her highness want to buy jwellery." He said excitedly.

Raksheet chuckled to see his excitement and said to Dakshat "My wife want to buy some jwellery. Do you have anything good that can suit to her appearance?"

"Oh! So she is our elder princess!" Dakshat exclaimed "Greetings your highness." He said

Ira just nod in response and continued looking at the jwellery behind the jeweller that are held on wall. Her eyes lit up to see the design and shining gems on the necklace.

Dakshat followed her gaze and found a diamond necklace. Ruby at the centre and beautiful small flower design with small diamonds at the centre of flowers.

He immediately took down the necklace from wall and placed it infront of Ira on the galss table between them.

"It's a special designed necklace. It have detailed work on it and the flowers are of platinum with diamonds at the centre of each flower. The Ruby is well cut to fit in it in oval shape." He explained.

Ira carefully touched the necklace and asked "How much is this for?"

Before Dakshat can answer, Raksheet said "Don't think about price. Buy whatever you want. I told you I am gifting you everything you want."

And Arjuna suddenly spoke "Yes your highness. His majesty have lots of money. You can buy anything you want. He will pay for everything."

She laughed on his comment "Fine, I want this." She looked at Raksheet and asked "Do you like this?"

"If you like it, I like it too." He answered and ordered Dakshat to keep it aside. He then turned to Ira.

"Anything else?"

She immediately nod and asked Dakshat to show more jwellery like bangles, earrings and rings. Dakshat placed different jwellery boxes infront of her and she started selecting what she want, Arjuna helping her.

In her entire life, she didn't got any chance to buy whatever she want. Only her in-laws asked her for her choice and her husband is buying her whatever she want. She is too excited to buy the jwellery that she forgot that how much it will cost and how much Raksheet have to spend on her.

When she realised it, she stopped asking for more jwellery and looked at Raksheet.

"It's enough. I don't want more." She said, cursing herself in her mind for wasting her husband's so much money. She can't return the jwellery or can say she don't want it because he will force her to take it. She can only stop and tell him that she don't want more.

Raksheet, who was enjoying his wife's joyful smile and excitement till now, raised his one eyebrow questioningly after seeing her expression changing from happiness to worry. She tried to hide it but her husband is smart enough to read it.

"Why? You can have more. I told you, don't think about money. I am a king, I can buy whatever my wife like."

"Yes! He is right!" Arjuna spoke, making Ira chuckle and caress his head.

"I know." She looked at Raksheet "But it's enough. We can't waste money like this."

His expression turned from doubt to cold and he said in authoritative voice. "No need to feel bad because I am spending my wealth on my wife. Not my kingdom's. So buy freely."

She smiled and held his hand "I know you will not waste kingdom's money. But I don't want more. Look at the jwellery. It's too much for me. I can't take more. If you want, I can buy some for mother and grandmother but I don't want more for myself."

He took a deep breath and replied "Alright, if you want to buy for them, then buy."

After buying some jwellery for her mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law and paying the bill, they left the jwellery shop. After sometime, Ahil also joined them with his soldiers.

"Ah, look at here! Whose baby is this?" He asked, pulling Arjuna's both cheeks.

He brushed Ahil's hand away and ran towards Ira.

"I am not a baby!" He yelled, holding Ira's gown tightly and hiding behind her.

"Hey! Don't touch my sister. Leave her." Ahil said and stepped forward to separate Arjuna from Ira but she stopped him.

"Let him be. He is just a kid." She caressed Arjuna's head and said "He helped me a lot today. Thank you, Arjuna."

"Your welcome." He replied in his sweet voice.

Ahil raised an eyebrow doubtfuly, feeling jealous.

"Are you done staring? Would you mind to hold these bags or should I carry them all the way?" Raksheet asked, making Ahil come to his sense and take the bags from him.
