Chapter 178 - chapter:0.177: Jin vs rena part IV

The air trembled under the sheer weight of their power, and the training hall was transformed into a storm of light, fire, and steel. Jin's crimson eyes flashed with merciless determination as he wielded his sword, Nihil, with unparalleled skill. The blue flames surrounding the blade flickered like a violent storm, adorned with shimmering golden lightning dancing on its edge.

Jin's voice cut through the roar of their battle, calm but charged with deadly precision. "Prepare, Rena. This is the Art of the Blue Moon—my sword will carve your fate."

With a fluid motion, Jin executed the first moon strike: the Crescent Cleaver. His sword curved into a brilliant crescent, tracing a dazzling trail of golden stars that fell like comets behind the blade. Fiery cries erupted from the air where the blade passed, leaving a glowing scar on the fabric of reality.

Rena's eyes narrowed, her body igniting as silver flames coated her limbs. She turned, narrowly avoiding the deadly crossbow, and responded with a barrage of silver-black fire spears, each one leaving shadows and embers that hissed as they hit the ground.

Jin responded without hesitation. He turned, his sword slicing through the hail of bullets with precision and speed, sending fiery shards scattering like falling stars. His feet barely touched the ground as he closed the distance, unleashing "Moon Two: Destroying Crescent"—a sweeping strike that left a trail of blue electromagnetic energy and golden sparks in its wake.

Rena smiled, a thrill of defiance coursing through her veins. "Do you think these flashy moves will stop me?" she sneered, raising her hands as her palms ignited. With a sharp roar, she unleashed a firestorm, a storm of blazing white flames that surged like a living beast.

Jin raised his sword with great difficulty, using the third technique: Smashing Moon, an overhead strike that brought down a dome of shimmering blue energy. The flames met the barrier with a resounding explosion, sending waves of heat and power surging outward.

Their battle was a symphony of violent grace: Jin's sword weaving arcs of destruction, while Rena's fiery rage flared in a counterattack, their powers illuminating the room with showers of fire and moonlight. Each of Jin's strikes was a masterpiece of deadly intent.

Fourth Strike: Precise Moon, a swift and precise cut that sent mana shards flying like needles of light.

The Fifth Strike: The Shattered Moon, a devastating strike that shattered the ground beneath them, sending glowing cracks raining down on the ground.

Sixth Strike: The Devouring Moon, a rotating vortex of strikes covered in electric blue flame, tearing through the air with a sound like a crack of thunder.

Each strike left behind a trail of golden stars that fell and melted like flaming petals. Jin's control over his mana was impeccable, each move he executed with cold elegance and devastating power.

Rena wasn't just a target, she was a storm in her own right. Her body burned with the power of two mana cores, silver flames scorching her skin like living energy. She lunged forward, fists blazing up to her elbows, delivering a flurry of rapid punches, each strike exploding with fiery power. Her legs shot out with devastating kicks, flames swirling around them like coiling snakes.

"You are powerful, Jin, but I am no mere novice," Rena growled through clenched teeth, her eyes glowing red with fierce determination. "I am the fire that will consume everything you hold dear."

Jin's laughter rang out, dark and amused. "What a soul... I almost admire your nerve."

Their clash intensified; Jin parried and parried, swiveling his sword to deflect flame shots and punches in a fluid, precise motion. When Reyna tried to get close, he countered her with a burst of mana-enhanced speed, rushing forward like a thunderbolt to strike her with "Seventh Strike: Piercing Moon," a deadly stab with the force of a comet crashing to the ground.

Rena turned, the tip of the sword grazing her side, leaving a line of searing pain. But her fire only grew stronger. She ignited the flames around her into a massive spear of silver fire, hurling it with brutal force. The spear collided with Jin's sword, causing an explosion of sparks and smoke.

"Not bad," Jin admitted, wiping the sweat from his brow and taking a step back. "But you have to do better than that."

Rena smirked, her chest rising and falling rapidly. "Watch me."

Her body ignited once more as she formed a blazing armor, encasing herself in swirling fire that took the form of dragon scales and wings. Her strength increased, her movements sharper, faster, and more deadly.

Jin's eyes lit up with interest. "Half-dragon, really."

With a ferocious scream, Reyna pounced, her fists blazing, mixing combat strikes with a scorching flame. She unleashed a series of explosive punches, each accompanied by flames that surged to her elbows, followed by a swirl of fiery kicks that sent Jin flying backward.

Jin smiled, took a deep breath, and channeled his mana precisely. His sword glowed bright blue with a golden sheen, and he summoned the eighth strike: Crushing Moon, a devastating downward strike that split the air with a resounding noise.

Rena barely dodged the impact, feeling a ripple. She rolled forward, the flames blazing dangerously, but her resolve only grew stronger.

You're amazing, Rena. But now I'll show you why I'm Mr. Blue Moon.

With a fluid motion, Jin raised his sword toward the sky and summoned a massive arc of blue mana that shone with a golden luster—the Moon Bow: The Destroyer Crescent. He pulled the invisible string and unleashed a glowing arrow of pure energy, charging toward Rena with a blinding fury.

Rena's eyes narrowed. She formed a barrier of silver flame, intercepting the arrow with a roar. The collision sent out waves of fire and energy, shaking the foundation of the training hall.

"Is that all you have?" Rena cried, propelling herself through the flames and closing the distance with renewed strength.

Jin laughed coldly. "Yes."

He unleashed "Ninth Strike: Crushing Moon," a series of sword strikes so fast that they blended, leaving behind glittering golden trails that rained down like meteors. He then combined it with "Tenth Strike: Piercing Moon," concentrating the energy into precise strikes targeting Rena's vital points.

Rena turned and dodged, the flames swirling violently as she fought back a storm of fiery daggers that exploded from her fingertips, their edges glowing a silvery black.

"Your fire burns bright, but my moon cuts deeper," Jin said in a low, sharp voice.

Their battle was a dance of death and light—Jin's blade slicing through the air with deadly precision, tongues of flame scorching Reyna and roaring as she met each blow. The ground cracked beneath them, scorched and shattered from the intensity of their clash.

Rena's breathing was heavy, her body screaming under the pressure, but her spirit refused to break.

"Jane," she whispered through gritted teeth, "I am not only your wife, I am your equal. And I will prove it."

Jin's eyes gleamed with amused respect. "Show me then."

With a final explosive thrust, Rena unleashed the fury of her mutant power—tongues of flame blazing like a living inferno, her body a beacon of silver and red fire. The air pulsed with raw mana energy as she lunged forward, her fists and feet blazing in a relentless assault.

Jin met face to face, his sword like a blazing comet of destruction, their powers clashing with catastrophic force.

The battle has just begun.
