The next day
"Woof woof woof!"
"Tun Tun it's fucking early I want to sleep more," Viviana grumbled as she covered herself with a blanket but the dog licked her face and she slowly opened her eyes. Her beautiful golden eyes stared at her pet that raised its paw. Vivienne wiggled her nose she stood up from her bed and threw her dog in the sink.
"Watch up," she said as she washed up herself. After she changed her clothes she walked down the stairs and she saw a girl same age as Kai and herself.
"Hello who might be?" Hina asked as she acting as the eldest Miss.
"Hina, meet our daughter Viviana, we will tell you actually what happened the truth. Back then I have birth to Kai and Viviana but a fire broke out and we mistakenly took you, your parents are no more but don't worry Hina you are still our daughter," Elizabeth said gently. Hina clenched her fits she isn't the daughter of the Rosenzweig if those other heiress found out they would make fun of her. No no she won't give up anything! She slowly looks at Viviana they was hatred but she did not show it. Viviana was good at reading people and she did not care about Hina.
"Sister you must not be used to it here," Hina said as she tried to touch Viviana whose eyes flashed with coldness.
"No thanks I can handle myself."
"Alright come on and eat up!" Elizabeth said gently. Everyone sat down at the table. Both Richard and Elizabeth attention were on Viviana they filled her plate with food even Kai was pouring apple juice for her. Hina watched this and in her heart she became jealous.
As the family sat down to breakfast, the atmosphere was tense. Hina's jealousy was palpable, her eyes darting between Viviana and her parents. She couldn't believe they were treating this girl, this stranger, with such affection.
Viviana, on the other hand, seemed unfazed by the attention. She ate quietly, her golden eyes taking in every detail of her new surroundings. She could sense Hina's hatred, but she chose to ignore it. She had dealt with worse in her life.
Richard and Elizabeth, meanwhile, were practically doting on Viviana. They filled her plate with her favorite foods, poured her juice, and asked her about her plans for the day. It was as if they were trying to make up for lost time.
Kai, sitting beside Viviana, couldn't help but smile at the sight. He was happy to see his parents so attentive, so loving towards his twin. But he also felt a pang of guilt for Hina. He knew this must be hard for her.
"Hina, how was Russia?" Kai asked Richard and Elizabeth attention turned to their adopted daughter Hina. Hina was trying process what was going just few minutes ago she finds out she isn't biological related to her family that raised her but this girl is! A country bumpkin the moment she thought about it the more she dislike Viviana. Hina smiled brightly showing off her innocent smile.
"Good I loved it there!" Hina said and started at Viviana with a smug look saying that she went somewhere she couldn't. Viviana did not care she eat her food and feed Tun Tun.
As Hina spoke about her trip to Russia, Viviana fed small pieces of her breakfast to Tun Tun under the table. She didn't care about Hina's adventures or her obvious attempts to oneup her. Viviana had been to far more exotic and dangerous places than Russia, but she saw no need to boast about it.
Richard and Elizabeth listened attentively to Hina, nodding and asking questions. It was clear they were proud of their adopted daughter's experiences. Kai, however, seemed distracted, his gaze occasionally drifting to Viviana.
"So, Viviana," Elizabeth said, turning her attention back to her biological daughter.
"What would you like to do today? We could go shopping, or maybe visit a museum?"
"Sleep."
"If our baby wants to sleep you must sleep!" Elizabeth said without a second thought one can tell both father and mother dotted on Viviana so much.
Viviana shrugged, her golden eyes flicking up to meet her mother's gaze. She wasn't used to being doted on like this, to having her every wish granted. It was... unsettling, in a way.
"I don't know," she said, her voice neutral.
"Maybe I'll just explore the house. It's... big."
Elizabeth beamed, clearly thrilled that Viviana wanted to see more of their home.
"Of course, sweetheart! Make yourself at home. And if you need anything, anything at all, just ask."
Hina watched this exchange with a growing sense of resentment. She couldn't believe how quickly her parents had turned their attention to this girl, this stranger. It wasn't fair.
As the family finished breakfast, Hina excused herself, muttering something about unpacking. She stomped up the stairs, her mind racing with jealousy and anger.
Kai stood up, stretching.
"You brat all you do is be lazy!" Richard said to his son and kicked his butt. Kai pouted at his dad and rushed to his twin sister.
"Sister dad is bullying me."
Viviana blinked few times before she shook her head and walked off.
Kai watched Viviana walk away, a mixture of amusement and concern on his face. He knew his sister well enough to know that she needed space when she was overwhelmed. And he could only imagine how overwhelming this situation must be for her.
He turned back to his father, who was shaking his head in mock disappointment.
"Come on, old man," Kai said, grinning.
"Let's go to the gym. I'll show you who's the real lazy one."
Richard laughed, ruffling Kai's hair affectionately.
"You're on, kid. But don't come crying to me when I beat you senseless."
As the two men headed off to the gym, Elizabeth began clearing the table, humming to herself. She was so happy to have her family together, even if it was a little chaotic.
Meanwhile, Viviana wandered through the mansion, Tun Tun trotting faithfully by her side. She took in the opulent furnishings, the priceless art, the sheer size of the place. It was like something out of a fairy tale.
"Sister I heard being raised in the countryside is hard," Hina said as she licked her lips and narrowed her eyes. Viviana was indifferent she stared at Hina for a long time.
"Um."
"What kind of tea do you like?" Hina asked. She wanted to show Viviana that she is nothing but a country bumpkin!
Viviana licked her lips before she turned head slightly the movement was so seductive it could make a man go wild.
"Green tea," she said as she walked away. It took Hina sometime to understand what Viviana was implying she became so angry! That bitch!
