Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 {Elderly Man}

Gong's expression turned wistful as he spoke of Viviana's grandparents.

"Your grandparents are a remarkable couple," he began, his voice filled with affection.

"Your grandfather, Jonathan Rosenzweig, is a man of great wisdom and integrity. He built the foundation of the Rosenzweig empire and has always been a guiding light for the family."

"He's a passionate art collector and a patron of the arts. His gallery is one of the most prestigious in the world, showcasing works from both established and emerging artists."

"Your grandmother, Sophia, is a philanthropist at heart. She's dedicated her life to helping those in need, founding numerous charities and organizations that support education, healthcare, and social welfare."

Gong paused, a soft smile playing on his lips.

"They're both in their late seventies now, but their minds are as sharp as ever. They dote on their grandchildren, but extremely excited to meet you, Seventh Miss."

Gong noticed the sudden change in Viviana's demeanor, the way her eyes darkened and her expression turned cold. He knew better than to pry, understanding that she carried burdens he could only imagine. Instead, he reached over and gently patted her shoulder.

"It's been a long day, Seventh Miss," he said softly.

"Why don't you get some rest? We have a long journey ahead of us, and you'll need your strength."

Viviana nodded, grateful for his understanding. She leaned back against the seat, closing her eyes as the gentle rocking of the truck lulled her towards sleep.

As she drifted off, her mind wandered to the mysterious woman who had attacked her six months ago. The encounter had left her shaken, her onceunstoppable martial arts prowess diminished. Looked at her sharp dagger she designer herself and she sneered when she finds that bitch in the future she will make her suffer.

Gong drove on, his eyes occasionally flicking to the rearview mirror to check on Viviana. He saw the dagger in her hand, the sharp blade glinting in the dim light. It was a chilling sight, a stark reminder of the dangers that lurked in the shadows of her past. He wondered what the seventh miss has been through

As the miles rolled by, the truck eventually pulled into a rest stop. Gong parked the vehicle and turned to Viviana, gently shaking her awake.

"Seventh Miss, we're stopping for a break," he said softly.

Viviana stirred, her eyes fluttering open. She blinked, momentarily disoriented before remembering where she was. She sat up, stretching her arms above her head as she yawned.

"How long was I asleep?" she asked, her voice husky from slumber.

"Not long, maybe four hours or so," Gong replied, climbing out of the truck.

He walked around to her side and opened the door, offering her his hand.

"Why don't we grab a coffee and stretch our legs? It'll do us both some good."

Viviana nodded, taking his hand and stepping out of the truck.

Viviana followed Gong into the rest stop, the warm aroma of coffee and freshly baked pastries filling the air. She breathed in deeply, her stomach rumbling softly in response. Despite the large breakfast she had eaten earlier, she found herself craving something sweet.

As they waited in line, Viviana's eyes wandered over the various displays of snacks and drinks. Her gaze landed on a shelf filled with colorful lollipops, and a mischievous smile tugged at her lips. She walked over and her food was already bought she stuck a lollipop in her mouth Tun Tun ran around. Vivi hair blew through the window her mind was calm as she looked at the cloudy sky.

She heard a crowd of people screaming and Vivi walked over her hands in her hoodie pockets. Her eyes widen there an old man laying touching his chest. As a doctor she will do anything to save anyone.

"Move the man to the hospital!" A woman shouted. Vivi looked at the sign they are now in Shanghai not the city yet but in Shanghai.

"Moving him do you want him dead?" Vivi asked coldly. The arrogant woman snapped at Vivi.

"Little girl I am doctor you are nothing but a teen who knows nothing!" Dr. Mang snapped at Vivi who pushed through the crowd she was calm she wore a black cap.

"Like I said move him he will die," Vivi said. Dr. Mang without a second thought pointed at Vivi and insulted her.

"Little girl, how dare you contradict me in front of all these people! I am Dr. Mang, one of the most respected cardiologists in Shanghai. You know nothing about medicine, so stay out of my way," Dr. Mang snapped, her face flushed with anger.

The crowd murmured, some siding with the elderly doctor, others curious to see how the young girl would respond. Viviana remained calm, her golden eyes locked on Dr. Mang's face. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small, intricately carved wooden box.

"This man is suffering from a rare heart condition," she said quietly, her voice barely audible over the murmur of the crowd.

"Moving him could trigger a fatal arrhythmia."

"You brat!" Dr. Mang shouted raised her hand to slap Vivi who eyes flashed with coldness.

"Do you think you can help him!?" Dr. Mang shouted Vivi looked up like she worth nothing in her eyes.

"Yes."

Dr. Mang was so angry.

Viviana's calm demeanor never faltered as she faced Dr. Mang's rage. She opened the wooden box, revealing a set of delicate, ancientlooking needles. The crowd gasped, their eyes widening in disbelief.

"I am a master of acupuncture," she said, her voice steady and confident.

"These needles, when placed in the correct points, can stabilize his heart rhythm and prevent further complications."

Dr. Mang scoffed, her hand still raised.

"Preposterous! Acupuncture is nothing more than a pseudoscience. I won't allow you to experiment on this man."

Viviana's eyes flashed with a hint of annoyance, but she maintained her composure. She turned to the crowd, addressing them directly.

"This man's life is in danger. If Dr. Mang insists on moving him, he may not survive the journey. I am offering a safe, noninvasive alternative. The choice is yours."

The crowd murmured, some nodding in agreement, others still skeptical. Dr. Mang's face turned red with fury, but she found herself unable to refute Viviana's logic.

"You... you little brat," she stammered, her hand trembling with rage.

"Acupuncture has long been lost!"

"Just because an idiot like you don't how to do acupuncture it doesn't mean other can't."
