Chapter 929 - Ch. 929 – Love That Can’t Reach

Algor waited and waited, but she didn't find any trace of Athena's presence in this world.

When evening came, Algor was stunned.

"Prometheus, has Athena returned?"

Prometheus heard Algor's words and didn't give an answer.

"Unable to answer your question."

"Regarding privacy-related questions, we will not respond."

Same as always.

Prometheus never gave her any face.

"Hateful!"

"Just tell me!!"

"Stupid Takumi, why won't you give me access!!"

Every time this came up, she got irritated.

Not having authority was too frustrating.

Stupid Takumi!!

Aguro looked at Algor, frowning.

"Idiot, I'm heading back." She was too speechless to deal with waiting here any longer. After that, she couldn't be bothered with the girl. She always wanted to make trouble for Athena. But now Athena was back, and Algor didn't even know where she was. What's the point of going on about it? Go home and sleep.

After throwing that shade, Gula went back.

Hearing what Algol said, Algor felt a little embarrassed.

But she quickly reacted.

"Wait for me!"

"I'll take you to her house!"

"I know where she lives."

"No!"

"I'm going home."

"I don't have time to mess around with you."

"Go sleep."

Algol looked down on Algor.

It really was embarrassing.

Algol didn't want to go crazy with Algor at all.

It was boring.

Seeing Algol disappear, Algor pouted, visibly unhappy.

In that case, she'd just go alone.

With that in mind, Algor vanished and headed to Athena's house.

When she left, Algol had already figured out where Athena's residence was.

Now it was time to go looking.

Algor darted out happily.

Algol returned to Takumi's house.

Takumi was surprised to see her back—without Algor.

"What happened?"

"Why did you come back alone?"

Takumi was a bit puzzled.

What had happened with Aguro?

Did she come home alone?

"I waited forever with that idiot Algor."

"That moron's trying to bother Athena again."

"She doesn't even know where she is."

"So I decided not to waste my time."

Algol explained the situation.

After listening, Takumi was speechless.

"Outrageous."

"That idiot really is persistent."

Takumi didn't even know what to say.

He could only admire the audacity.

It was honestly unexpected.

But Takumi didn't bother worrying about it.

It wasn't that easy for Algor to find Athena now.

If Athena deliberately hid, Algor wouldn't find her.

It was just like the Halloween Queen and Shiroyasha.

The Halloween Queen could easily hide from Shiroyasha.

But Shiroyasha struggled to find her.

Takumi glanced at Athena's status.

He muttered to himself, wow.

This is insane.

What had Algor forced Athena into?

Athena's assassin skillset was maxed out.

And now Athena hadn't even returned home—she was still in one of the worlds she discovered.

She'd already moved, but Algor was dumb enough to wait for her.

Athena had fully blacklisted Algor.

She was banned from entering any of the worlds Athena controlled.

Seeing this, Takumi's mouth curled into a grin.

He was thrilled.

Absolutely thrilled.

Shaking his head, Takumi stopped thinking about it and focused on the dimensional map before him.

Algol noticed what he was looking at and came closer with curiosity.

"What are you looking at?"

"Let me see too!!"

As she said that, she snuggled into Takumi's arms.

Seeing her, Takumi chuckled.

"You wouldn't understand."

Hearing that, Aguro pouted.

She stared at the screen in front of Takumi.

"A dimensional map?"

"Is this from the explorers?"

"How big is it now?"

Algol was curious.

World exploration had been ongoing.

Wasn't it because exploration stopped and Athena returned that Algor started going crazy?

Now that she saw the map, Algol grew more intrigued.

"We've only explored less than 20% of the entire dimension."

"Although the data is a bit shaky..."

"It might still be accurate."

"Anyway, it's huge."

"It's even possible the dimension is expanding."

Weiwei's data might not be 100% accurate.

No one could say for sure.

Research on the full dimension was still incomplete.

But that was enough.

Even if the dimension expanded endlessly, what did it matter?

Takumi planned to accelerate and gather all the worlds within it.

He wanted to maximize his power-up rate.

Until his points were enough, he'd strengthen himself as much as possible.

That was the best way to maximize the effects of growth.

Hearing that, Algol blinked.

Well, she didn't get it.

She was a poor student to begin with. Takumi was embarrassing her by explaining all this.

Still, she understood some things.

Like those light spots.

Those must be worlds, right?

So many had been discovered.

And they were moving.

They were coming to their current world, right?

"It seems like some of them aren't moving?"

"Don't they want to come over?"

Agurula tilted her head.

She looked at the unmoving light spots on the dimensional map.

Those were the worlds that didn't want to come, right?

So many didn't give them face?

"Yeah."

"Even though our world is super tempting for many of them..."

"Some still refuse."

"Or someone's interfering."

"These worlds are usually high-end."

The ones that resisted were the ones Takumi liked most.

What could he say? Men were like that.

The harder something was to get, the more they liked it.

The ones that wouldn't come?

Those were the best.

So resilient.

Takumi liked that.

Hearing him say this, Algol was speechless.

"Got it. It's just like Athena and Al-chan."

"Unreachable love~!"

Takumi went silent when he heard algol say that.
