Chapter 677 - Chapter 677: The Guild’s Explanation to the Gods

"Thank goodness you were there. Without you, my children would've been at death's door."

Cold sweat formed on Loki's forehead. She could hardly imagine how dangerous things would've been without Bell helping from behind the scenes.

Hearing this, Bell felt a bit embarrassed. He wanted to say, "Actually, your children probably could've managed even without me," but he had no evidence to support it, so he could only smile.

"And what about Dionysus? What do you think his trump card is?"

The goddesses present all became interested.

Every goddess there knew that Dionysus planned to participate in the hidden floor assault the day after tomorrow. According to him, he was helping return Loki's child to the Evilus god, but the real reason was probably to eliminate competitors and gather some particularly dangerous intelligence.

"What else could it be? Pure, simple 'power.'"

Bell let out a small laugh and gave the most accurate answer without hesitation.

"Power…!?"

"Holy shit! Don't tell me that hidden Lv.7 you mentioned before is actually Dionysus's child!?" Loki reacted instantly, but the realization left her completely stunned. The shock spread across the rest of the goddesses as well.

None of them had expected the Lv.7 hidden behind it to be Dionysus's child.

"No wonder he was so bold about joining the assault. I didn't expect that guy to have a trump card like that."

Loki clicked her tongue inwardly. Who would've imagined that Dionysus was the god hiding the deepest? Having a Level 7 might not automatically make a familia top-tier, but it was more than enough to qualify one to stand at the peak of Orario. Yet he had hidden it so thoroughly that no one had discovered it until now.

The level of concealment was almost as astonishing as Bell reaching Lv.6.

"A trump card stays a trump card because it's hidden. Once people know about it, it stops being one."

Bell had little interest in that female elf. She seemed to have some sort of connection with Lefiya, but he had no idea how that would turn out in the end.

"Loki, what did Ouranos say?"

"Ouranos asked me to come to the Guild tonight."

"To the Guild?"

Bell found that somewhat curious. After thinking for a moment, he looked toward Freya.

"Freya, do you think the Guild plans to have the gods watch Evilus's downfall together this time?"

"Make it public?"

Freya raised an eyebrow. Clearly, she hadn't anticipated that the Guild might take such a step.

But thinking it through, Evilus had caused such a massive uproar this time that some things simply couldn't be hidden. They might really demand that the assault be publicly shown.

"There's definitely a possibility."

"Evilus went too far. They dragged countless ordinary children into this. Even among the gods, fear has already spread. Ouranos is probably struggling to figure out how to contain the situation."

"But this incident isn't like any before."

"Too many ordinary people died."

Bell hit the point directly. Even if the Guild wanted to hide the truth this time, it wouldn't be possible. And the mere existence of Evilus had already caused panic among the gods.

"That's right."

Freya nodded. This time, it would be extremely difficult to suppress the situation, especially with Bell pushing events from behind the scenes. Now that everyone in Orario knew the Guild was preparing to assault the Dungeon, there was no way to keep things hidden.

"Because the civilian casualties this time are far too great, and with the information you've been spreading, the Guild couldn't operate in secret even if it wanted to.

"But since your goal is to restrict Evilus's battlefield, I doubt Ouranos will trouble you—unless he's gone senile."

Sharp words like that would leave any god outside stunned.

Freya had actually called Ouranos senile.

"Mm-hmm, exactly. Bell's definitely right. The problem lies with those Dungeon folks."

Hestia naturally sided with Bell.

"Don't worry. Ouranos isn't that irrational."

Hephaestus laughed lightly, brushing aside their concerns. Ouranos understood Bell's importance—he wasn't actually some clueless old man.

"Though I'd like to tell you all to stop treating Ouranos like a fool, I feel like you've already influenced me."

Artemis couldn't help covering her face as she recalled the first thing she'd wanted to say earlier. She used to respect Ouranos greatly—how had she ended up calling him a fool so casually?

Listening to the goddesses defending him, Bell felt happy, but he still had to speak up.

"It's not that bad."

It really wasn't.

"Ouranos wouldn't throw the blame onto me. And with how much they're trying to coordinate with my actions, they probably want me to grow smoothly."

Still, Bell couldn't help worrying about the Guild's decision.

"But as Freya said, this incident has blown up too much. No matter what, the Guild has to give an explanation and an answer."

"So the Guild might be preparing to make the entire operation public."

"If that's the case, the trouble on my end gets even bigger."

"Isn't that perfect? Just treat it as your debut."

Loki said it with complete certainty, but Bell looked helpless.

"While I don't mind exposing some of my information, that's within reasonable limits. I don't want my face or certain critical details getting out. Otherwise, I'll have a long list of problems waiting for me."

"To avoid unnecessary issues, I need to keep some things hidden."

Loki felt Bell was worrying too much, but she also understood this was typical of him.

"So, when do you plan to reveal yourself? You should know, I'm really looking forward to seeing those old geezers get shocked when some unknown kid like you suddenly jumps out of nowhere."

Her anticipation went unfulfilled, leaving Loki somewhat disappointed, though she still respected Bell's decision.

Bell propped his chin on his hand and fell silent for a moment.

"Perhaps… at the very least, I should wait until I'm prepared to take on the Black Dragon."
