Eden took a step forward, his eyes fixed on Kyle, who lay beneath him, ready to accept anything thrown his way.
He let the thoughts run through his mind, contemplating what to do with Kyle. It would be best if he ended him right here and now. It would be best for everyone.

And just as he was about to raise his hand to strike, Kyle snapped.

Eden stiffened; he could feel someone behind him. Immediately, he snapped his fingers to protect himself at least.
Mr. Albert was about to use a gem against him—a gem that would pierce through Eden temporarily and leave him weak.
Eden dodged the attack, and Mr. Albert didn't bother striking again. He ran toward Kyle, who was already calling for him.
"Quick, let's go!" Kyle snapped as Mr. Albert pulled him by the hand, and the two of them disappeared into thin air.
Eden stood there, staring at the smoke that filled the spot where they had been just seconds before. He didn't move.
