"Locke, do you no longer have lunch in the cafeteria even though your wife isn't bringing you food anymore?"
Before he could tighten his hold, the mood was suddenly interrupted by a brief knock on the door, followed by Anson Elba's voice and then the door was pushed open.
What Anson saw, however, was Elena leaning over the desk and Silas on the other side of it.
"Thank you for your help, Miss Simmons. If it's alright with you, we should continue this project later," Silas inhaled sharply, placing both hands on his desk.
"Of course, Mr. Locke. I'm more than happy to be of help to you another time," Elena beamed, flashing him a small smile before she turned to leave.
She greeted Anson by the door before hurrying to the door.
As she left, he tilted his head to follow her, his eyes not shifting until the door closed firmly behind her.
Though she remained calm and immediately went back to work with a straight face, the already-suspicious man grew even more suspicious.
