Chapter 457 - Chapter 457: Creation and Betrayal

"Destruction... Isn't that Lord Beerus's signature technique?! How can my brother use it too?!" Son Goku was completely stunned, the deafening roar of "Hakai" still echoing in his ears.

"Haha, what Raditz has mastered is only superficial—it's not quite the same thing as Lord Beerus's version," Whis explained with an amused smile.

The destructive power of a God of Destruction was a unique form of divine energy that ordinary beings couldn't comprehend. Raditz had only learned a fraction of it despite Whis's careful guidance. Compared to Beerus—who could destroy anything at will with casual ease—Raditz fell far short. The "Hakai" he'd just used had been forcibly channeled through his hands. While the effect was impressive, it actually consumed enormous energy and lacked the pure, effortless quality of true Destruction.

Hearing Whis's explanation, Son Goku and Vegeta seemed to grasp something deeper, but Beerus simply snorted. "I don't see any difference! That kid Raditz..."

He turned his gaze back to the dimensional arena, watching as Raditz and Demigra clashed once more.

Punches, sideways swings, side kicks, spinning attacks—a flowing combination like clouds and water that left Demon God Demigra with no strength to fight back. Already at a disadvantage and now missing an arm, how could he possibly resist Raditz's relentless assault?

"DAMN IT!" Demigra roared in frustration. Another punch caught him in the mouth, sending him tumbling. Blood sprayed through the air, teeth loosened, and he looked utterly wretched.

Demigra's hatred burned white-hot. The ability of the God of Destruction being wielded by a mere Supreme Kai—what logic was there in that?! Moreover, that cursed dimensional barrier on the outside had almost completely blocked his space-time abilities. He couldn't escape even if he wanted to! The mighty demon god had been reduced to this pathetic state. If he'd known it would end like this, he would've stayed sealed for another seventy-five million years!

"PFFT!" After another brutal combination, Demigra spat out another mouthful of blood.

"I didn't expect your blood to be red," Raditz taunted. His eyes narrowed dangerously as his fist suddenly began glowing brilliant gold. Different from before, the power coalescing around his knuckles took the form of a golden dragon—massive and boundless in presence. Surging energy swept forward with a roar that pierced the heavens.

Dragon Fist erupted. Another devastating technique unleashed.

All Demigra could feel was despair.

"TOWAAA!!!" He screamed in agony as the golden light penetrated his chest. The moment of impact felt as though his entire body was being hollowed out.

The Dragon Fist passed completely through his torso, leaving only a massive, gaping hole. Demigra had already lost one arm—now he'd lost everything from chest to waist. The orange-red flames surrounding Raditz's body burned with terrible beauty. His eyes were as cold as glacial ice, and his killing intent fluctuated in waves that made scalps tingle with primal fear.

Towa, standing helplessly outside the barrier, naturally heard Demigra's agonized cry. But what could she do? She'd tried to penetrate the dimensional barrier, but with her level of power, she couldn't even make a crack. The recoil alone had nearly injured her.

And now, looking up at her from below weren't just the Time Patrol—but also the God of Destruction and those monstrous Saiyans! She deeply regretted making this trip. If she hadn't been so excited, if she hadn't trusted Demon God Demigra so completely, she never would have exposed herself so publicly.

Towa's heart raced with anxiety. At this point, she was only thinking about one thing: escape. As for Demon God Demigra... sometimes you had no choice but to abandon your pieces to save yourself!

" Demon God? What Demon God?!" Raditz's boot crashed into Demigra's face, the explosive force sending the demon god rolling backward through the air.

This battle had devolved into a one-sided massacre. Even orange-haired Raditz himself hadn't expected to be this overwhelmingly powerful. He'd never tried this transformation in actual combat before—but the moment he'd engaged, it had revealed the terrifying potential of this form.

"BASTARD! BASTARD! If I'm going to die, I'LL DRAG YOU WITH ME!" Demigra had completely lost his rationality to rage. He was a proud demon god—he'd never suffered such humiliation even seventy-five million years ago! This was utterly unbearable. He'd risk everything now—even if it meant mutual destruction, he would drag Raditz down into oblivion with him!

His crippled body directly transformed into a massive cloud of black mist, condensing into an enormous sphere of dark energy in the void. The power contained within was absolutely staggering—violent enough to shake cracks into even Whis's reinforced dimensional barrier. The ruthless, freezing aura leaked through those fractures, slicing through the ground of the Capital of Time like invisible blades. The terrifying energy even made Beerus raise his eyes with interest.

"Heh, this guy can still burst out with this level of strength while dying. I underestimated him."

"His last gambit," Whis said calmly, tapping his scepter once more. His perpetually smiling eyes suddenly opened fully. In that instant, all vibrations and rampaging power were restrained. The leaked dark energy was completely sealed back within the barrier.

Raditz's long hair whipped wildly in Demigra's mounting aura, dancing in countless spirals. He faced the growing sphere of dark energy with absolute composure.

"You've seen 'Destruction,'" Raditz declared, spreading his palm wide. "Now witness my own divine power!" The energy of his entire body surged like a tidal wave. The sea of ki roiled in his core as the gradually shifting flames on his body's surface transformed into dazzling, radiant brilliance.

In that brief moment, both Beerus and Whis gasped in genuine surprise.

They keenly sensed that Raditz had entered a true divine state—if only for a single second! Though it was fleeting, Beerus was genuinely stunned by this transformation. Who would have thought Raditz could actually achieve it?!

"Creation Seal!"

Raditz utilized his experience as Supreme Kai and the principles of "destructive energy" that Whis had taught him, developing an entirely new technique built upon the foundation of divine power. This move could seal an enemy within the endless cycle of rebirth and creation—and ultimately force them to return to the origin of everything: nothingness.

In that moment, Raditz seemed to become one with the world, with the universe itself. He stood upon an invisible peak, releasing a technique that embodied fundamental truth!

Demigra's sphere of dark energy rapidly disintegrated with a sound like reality tearing. All the accumulated power dissipated into nothing. Simultaneously, the dimensional space contracted. The black mist that comprised Demigra's form began to distort and shatter, drawn inexorably into an endless vortex.

"NO! NO! NOOOO...!!!"

The tragic cry echoed throughout the Capital of Time—the hoarse roar of a dying beast. But Demigra's essence was caught in the storm-like creation energy, constantly reincarnated, gradually weakened, walking inevitably toward the edge of complete annihilation.

Seeing that things had gone catastrophically wrong, Towa's heart pounded violently in her chest. While everyone's attention was fixed on Raditz and Demigra's final exchange, she mobilized every ounce of her remaining strength. With desperate effort, she tore open a space-time vortex and fled back toward the Demon Realm in complete disgrace.

"Hah... hah... hah... that was too close..." Towa gasped for breath, having escaped disaster by the narrowest margin. She turned around immediately, waving her hands to close the dimensional passage behind her.

Suddenly, a powerful hand grabbed her wrist.

"F-Frieza?! Why are you here?!" Towa's eyes widened with shock.

"Ohohoho, Towa—haven't you just resurrected the Demon God? Why do you look so... disheveled?" Frieza's voice dripped with smug satisfaction. "Could it be that even the Demon God lost?"

"You—" Towa's brow twitched violently as she held back her rage. "Don't concern yourself with that! I can still help you train, unlock your potential—just let me go quickly! They'll come after me any moment!"

Frieza's smile turned cold and sharp. "No, they won't be chasing after you. Because..." He raised his other hand, revealing a swirling sphere of space-time energy. "Because you'll be going to see them! Thanks for all that space-time energy you've been collecting, by the way. It's exactly what I needed to open this portal. I just wanted to say... farewell."

With casual cruelty, Frieza hurled the space-time energy directly at Towa's body. It detonated on impact, blasting her backward through the dimensional passage—sending her tumbling back toward the Capital of Time.

In the darkness of the Demon Realm, Frieza's smile widened with malicious satisfaction.

"Sorry, Towa. I don't need your help anymore."
