Ever since Caulifla awakened her Super Saiyan form, she had started spending more time sparring with Cabba—leaving Kale behind more and more often.
Today was no different.
Curiosity—and something deeper—had driven Kale to secretly follow them. Now, she crouched behind a cluster of stone spires, half-hidden in the shadow of the rocky forest. Her eyes followed the two figures darting through the sky above, golden auras crackling with raw power.
She hugged her knees to her chest, her breath quiet, but her heart pounding faster with every clash between them.
She wasn't sure if it was awe... or jealousy.
Cabba had taken the place beside Caulifla that Kale once thought was hers. She bit her lip, unable to tear her gaze away.
"Ah, hit, hit, hit!"
"Haaah!"
Caulifla and Cabba flew high in the sky with long energy trails, golden light shining endlessly. When they collided, they created thunderous noise that shook the world. Bitter wind howled and swirled away, cutting through the stone forest and opening deep trenches in the ground.
Their figures overlapped in the sunlight, as if melting into the sun itself.
"Haha, what a blast! Cabba, come again!" Caulifla yelled excitedly, her eyes full of energy.
Looking at the two of them fighting so fiercely, Kale showed a look of unrest on her face. "Sister seems so happy... could it be..."
She frowned, and her lips pursed even tighter.
Kale lowered her head, fingers curling into the rocky ground beneath her. Deep down, she couldn't stop thinking—it was her fault. Her weakness. Her inability to transform into a Super Saiyan. That was the wall between her and Caulifla.
Caulifla had already moved forward, leaving her behind.
She'd joined the Sadala Defense Force, trained daily with Cabba, and flew freely in battles that Kale could only watch from afar. The ache in her chest wasn't just frustration—it was a quiet, gnawing sense of being left out. Forgotten.
Why does she always choose him? Why am I never enough...?
Above, the battle raged on.
Cabba shouted as he launched himself forward, spinning through the air with a fierce energy wave trailing his fist. Caulifla smirked, flipping midair to block it with her forearm before twisting into a counterstrike of her own. Sparks exploded with every clash, their golden auras lighting up the sky like twin stars.
Kale's gaze remained fixed on them—drawn in, but distant.
Her heart pounded. The storm inside her was growing.
"Hah!" Cabba punched at Caulifla head-on, but his figure moved behind her at high speed, kicking her toward the ground with his legs in an arc.
With a thunderous crash, the ground split open beneath them—rocks shattered, and a massive crater carved itself into the earth. Dust billowed into the air as shockwaves rippled outward, toppling nearby stone formations.
Kale gasped, clapping a hand over her mouth. "Sister!"
Caulifla tumbled through the air, flipped, and landed in a crouch before springing back up with ease. At the sound of Kale's voice, she turned her head.
"Huh? Kale? What are you doing here?"
Her voice wasn't angry—just surprised. But before Kale could answer, Caulifla waved her off casually, as if her presence were an afterthought.
"Stay back. I don't want you getting hurt by accident."
Kale froze, her heart sinking.
"I..." she started, but the words stuck in her throat. Her shoulders drooped, the light in her eyes dimming as her expression darkened.
Caulifla had already turned away.
"Don't think you've won yet!" she snapped at Cabba with a fiery grin. "Come on—again!"
To Caulifla, the fight hadn't stopped. To Kale... it felt like she'd never been part of it to begin with.
Cabba twisted his wrist, his whole body tensing. Suddenly, he rushed forward again, breaking through the air with a whoosh. In the blink of an eye, he'd reached Caulifla's side, swinging his arms to slam into her abdomen.
The vigilant Caulifla caught Cabba's movement and immediately counterattacked. A smile appeared at the corner of her mouth as she stretched out one hand to block Cabba's heavy blow, while her other hand unexpectedly punched simultaneously, piercing through the air at the same speed and rushing toward Cabba's face.
So fast! Cabba only had this thought in his mind before flying backward.
As he stabilized his body, Caulifla was already rushing toward him. At the critical moment, Cabba's eyes burst with light as he raised his hand to send out a ki attack. BOOM! The energy explosion created a huge smoke screen, filling the sky with dust and debris.
"Ah... Sister, Cabba, you!"
Kale's eyes suddenly changed, her energy increasing inexplicably as a faintly different ki flickered at the tips of her hair. Anger transformed her temperament, and beneath her delicate appearance was hidden the mighty power to conquer everything.
She stared intensely at Cabba, causing him to tremble in the distance, but Cabba didn't realize it was Kale's gaze—he thought it was Caulifla, so he became more vigilant.
The smoke and dust faded, revealing that Caulifla had caught the ki attack with her hand at the critical moment and wasn't seriously injured.
Above the broken battlefield, Cabba and Caulifla clashed once more—grinning, driven by the thrill of the fight. Their fists collided midair, shockwaves bursting out from every impact, their golden auras flaring wildly as sparks flew between them.
To the others, it was an exhilarating duel between comrades.
But to Kale, hidden below, it was something else entirely.
Her expression twisted—conflicted, strained. She stared at them, her chest tight, her breath shallow. She couldn't tear her eyes away, especially not when Cabba landed a clean hit on Caulifla's side... and again, a second blow that forced her sister to stumble midair.
Something in Kale snapped.
A storm of emotions swirled inside her—grief, rage, helplessness, loneliness. It wasn't just jealousy anymore. It was the painful weight of being left behind, of being overlooked, of watching her beloved sister grow closer to someone else while she stood frozen in place.
Her fists clenched. Her vision blurred.
He hit her…
Why is she smiling?
Why does she fight beside him… and not me?
Suddenly, a violent surge of energy erupted around her—raw, unstable, and full of despair. The ground trembled beneath her feet as the air grew heavy.
Kale's eyes widened, glowing faintly.
And then—she screamed.
"AAAAHHHHH!!!"
Unable to control her ki any longer, once Kale opened the floodgates, energy poured out like a river bursting its banks, rushing endlessly. Her whole body floated in the air with lightning flashing around her—purple electricity flying and green light bursting out in all directions, dazzling and brilliant!
Kale's overwhelming ki stunned Cabba and Caulifla. The two suddenly stopped their attack and looked at Kale in amazement, their faces pale.
"Is this... Kale?"
"She—how did she become like this?! It's amazing!" Caulifla was heartlessly excited, opening her arms and laughing loudly.
But Cabba felt instinctively that this powerful energy was abnormal.
At the same time, Kale's pupils gradually disappeared as her figure swelled, transforming into a muscular form! Her hair turned yellow-green, and she grew much taller, looking like an iron tower!
Most frightening was her spreading ki, which was beyond imagination.
"Cabba, I'll kill you!" Kale roared and flew toward Cabba, unstoppable. It was hard to imagine such a huge body moving so fast that Cabba could barely keep up.
As Kale's kick came down, Cabba tried his best to resist, using almost all his strength.
BANG!
When the forces collided, Cabba flew backward and fell straight to the ground. Flying stones splashed, dust rose, and an inverted cone-shaped crater appeared in the earth.
Compared to the Legendary Super Saiyan, the power of ordinary Super Saiyans was pitifully weak—the gap between them was like a chasm.
Caulifla swallowed hard, her pupils trembling.
In the universe, on a satellite not far from Planet Sadala, a black-haired young man lay on his back, his body embedded in the ground. He didn't know when he'd fallen here or how long he'd been sleeping, like an abandoned statue.
Suddenly, the statue's eyes moved. The black-haired youth seemed inspired by something, showing signs of movement. Raindrops fell from the sky at just the right time—not heavy, but enough to moisten the young man's cheeks and chest. His parched lips were wetted by rain, trembling slightly as a human cry emerged from his throat like water from a dry well.
"Nnn..."
He awakened, his eyelids fluttering several times before opening as his chest heaved. His upper body was naked, and his loose trousers hung wet from the rain.
Supporting himself partway up from the ground, he looked toward the sky. In the vast, deep space, there was a force calling to him, awakening him.
That was the power of the Legendary Super Saiyan—and he was one too!
Broly was indeed living in the sixth universe, and had awakened!
When Raditz had been transported by the power of the demon realm, all external objects were burned. The universal capsule was destroyed, and even the magic sealing bottle wasn't spared, so Broly was freed from the container, drifting through the universe.
Broly and Raditz had moved in opposite directions—one was knocked away from Planet Sadala by the spaceship, while the other faced toward Planet Sadala and landed on this satellite.
However, in the end, Broly still awakened. He let out a roar under the gloomy sky, the sound shaking the world as layers of energy fluctuations agitated around him. Circles of light danced and space itself trembled!
Suddenly, the entire space became pale, then dark and gloomy, then shrouded in green light again. Between the constant shifting, Broly's figure gradually floated in the air, his proud posture seeming to surpass everything.
The Legendary Super Saiyan was here.
